The Blue Moon Awards Celebrated the Best in Stargate SG-1
Fandom with an Adult Flare.
The Stargate SG-1 Blue Moon Awards ran (on time) for 4 years from 2006-2010. This program ended with the 2010 round and will not
be returning due--mainly-- to infighting within the remains of the Stargate fandom. Since the show departed the airwaves the fandom has split and declined drastically. We don't want to keep rehashing old works from years past
and find little new to award.
We are sad to say that we no longer feel a program such as this is viable with so many people going to other arenas, including the professional one!, as well
as to other fandoms. Stargate SG-1 brought much joy to millions of people around the world and for that we are grateful. But as with all good things they
must come to an end so another good thing can begin.
Our archives are here for you to cruise and to enjoy the works
of these talented folks. We greatly enjoyed bringing you these awards and wish everyone who participated with us nothing but the best!
