If you're a notified nominee please check out the new categories on the Qualifying Works page. If you see something that better suits your work please contact us with regard to changing the chosen categories for your nomination(s). Crossover works were added to the list of Non-Qualifying Works. Please see the page for all of the details on both the categories and disqualification of future Crossover Works. Those that have already been nominated will, if accepted by their creators, go forward to the voting round.

July 7th
It seems we do have a small problem....Heliopolis and Heliopolis 2 are down for an undetermined length of time and has been down since June 26th. While it is regretable, we can't hold up the program without knowing when this problem will be cleared up and are going ahead as scheduled. Those nominees on Heliopolis and/or Heliopolis 2 will still be included in both the Preview and Voting Rounds in the hopes that Helio gets up and running in time. If anyone on either section of that site wishes to put their story (stories) on another server (ff.net, LJ, blogspot, myspace....wherever you're comfortable...you certainly don't have to but the option is always open to you) please get in touch with us when you've done so and let us know the new URL along with the the title and category for your story so we can change your link(s). As stated, we really do regret this very unfortunate turn of events but we can't in good conscience hold up the whole show for one site as this would not be fair to those nominees who are not on helio.July 6th
All pages are now complete for both the Preview and Voting Rounds! We topped out at a whopping 96 categories!!! THANK YOU! That is just simply amazing. View The Final List Here Since we are so far ahead of schedule (ahem) we will open the Preview Round on July 13th. Non-responsive and withdrawn nominees have until July 12th to contact us with regard to their nominations if they would like to go forward. The Preview Round will last 12 days, until voting opens at 3pm EDT on July 25th. The only thing left to do now is keep track of the votes and make banners. If any of our Art Nominees would like to be so kind as to volunteer to help with banners that would be wonderful. Please send me an email if you'd like to do that....no obligation of course! This has been a monumental task for what is basically a one-woman operation, as such, during the Preview Round should you come across any broken links (I hope not!) or anything like that, it would be greatly appreciated if you would kindly drop an email and let me know so I can fix the problem before voting opens. I have asked for volunteers to go over the pages before the Preview Round opens so hopefully any and all glitches will be caught and fixed by then anyway. All right guys & gals you did a phenomenal job of nominating your favorites and we're so grateful to you and to our talented nominees who accepted their nominations. We think it's going to be an excellent and very adult show here in just a few days!!!June 26th
We've been working fast and furious on this end since nominations closed on June 21st. Many thanks to all of our wonderful nominators for sending in 503 nominations!!!!! Thanks, also, to our very talented nominees who have allowed their works to go forward. We're hoping to have a final list of open categories posted here this weekend. The pages are almost complete for both the preview period and voting round. We are still waiting to hear from several nominees, each of the following have been notified several times using the information we've been given. None of the emails have bounced and most required the use of a 'contact box'...of course we have no way of knowing if they ever received any of our notices that way or how often they may check those accounts. However, we regret to say that we will not be sending out any further notices. If you know how to get in touch with any of the following please either tell them we're looking for them and they should get in touch with us or drop us an email with the nominee's current email address. Many sub-categories for fic are teetering right on the edge of opening as are a few main categories. Since they are so close, if the sub or main category can't open we'll probably have some type of Mixed Bag Category so these works aren't left out OR we may reduce the number of nominations necessary for a SUB-category to 2 nominations for works by 2 individual people. June 3rd
First, a decision has been made and a new category has been available to visual artists; HTH...Hotter Than Hell. These works of art go a step beyond your average 'Erotica' or 'Slash' material. They'll definitely make you break out in a sweat!
Second, another decision has been reached and there will be a short 'preview period' from July 19th until July 24th when people can come in and view the nominees then come back and vote on the 25th. We want to give everyone a chance to shine and be recognized for their efforts and we felt this was the fairest way to do that. So, anyone who 'opted out' of the program (there are only 6 writers who did so) and was told they had until July 20th to change their minds, this no longer applies. Opting out nominees may still change their minds and enter their works into the program but they must let us know BEFORE July 15th.
NON-RESPONDING NOMINEES---have until July 5th to respond to the program. Those who have already received Second Notices will NOT be receiving a third notice. If we do not hear from non-responding nominees on or before July 5th a decision will be made on their behalf. This decision will be based on the best interest of the program and, most of all, the best interest of the RESPONDING nominees. If a non-responding nominee's nomination is required to hold a category open it will go forward and if it isn't then it will be kicked. Since none of these notices have bounced we are left to assume that either 1-the email address and/or site has been abandoned or 2- the non-responding nominee doesn't care enough to make a decision.

June 1st
Due to a sudden and rather massive influx of art nominations it has been decided that ARTISTS will be allowed to have a maximum of 3 nominations per category/subcategory rather than 2. We hope our nominated writers do not feel this is unfair to them. We reached this decision based on the idea (possibly fact) that the pool of artists appears much smaller than our pool of writers and since the categories for art are rather limited compared to those of fiction that this might be allowable for our visual artists. We hope you understand.
Once again we have to ask that people NOT nominate any single person in mass as you are not doing that writer/artist any favors by making them sift through an abundance of nominations to find their favorites. Please only nominate those works you like BEST and be sure the links you submit go directly to the work and not to a gallery or index page if at all possible.
