They will find out what is unique about you and they will destroy you for it Adult Daniel Jackson Stargate SG-1 FanFiction By Moon Mistress Chapter Three If you're havin'
trouble with the high school head, The next and last stop on the
Foster Care Train for the brothers Jackson was the home of Bill and Mary
Cabral. Bill and Mary were a very stable, loving married couple and Daniel
supposed they were probably a lot like Mr. and Mrs. Kent had been when they
were younger. Bill was an engineer and
Mary worked part-time teaching piano.
They had a big sprawling house in the suburbs with a massive yard. Best
of all, the boys finally had a rooms of their own. Daniel liked it right off,
after all the library in the new school was three times bigger than at the old
school. In the end, Daniel stayed in the Cabral house until he was 19 and then
he was off to college. David didn’t last quiet as long. It was harder to get drugs at the Cabral’s.
They lived in the sticks! The boys had
to change schools again and leave all their old friends behind…again. The new high school was ritzy; it was full of
preppy rich kids that David would rather punch in the mouth than say ‘how do ya
do’ to. None of which made David very happy. He was bored off his ass most of
the time. The girls here were snotty and the guys were all jocks. All of them
were dumb as stumps and had no idea of how to have a good time. At least that
was David’s first impression of his new surroundings and the people who
inhabited it. It didn’t take him too long to come to the understanding that
people are people and that there are good and bad ones, smart and dumb ones,
wherever you went and it didn’t really matter how much money they had. Under
the preppy facade beat the hearts of teenagers just as they did everywhere in
the ‘burbs, these teens were also bored silly. He had the cure for that. In a few weeks time David Jackson was
introducing the preppy kids to all sorts of fun things and making money
hand-over-fist. Unlike the kids in the city, these kids had money—well, their
parents had money—and they were more than willing to spend it on anything and
everything which might alleviate their boredom in some small or better yet
significant way. While David would never
say that he made friends with any of these kids they did come to know each
other quite well over the six months he stayed in the Cabral house. The cops came to know him well too. Unlike the
inner city the cops out here were just as bored as the kids and David Jackson
gave them something to do as well. Out
here the kids were fairly well behaved, here and there you might have a
skirmish at the movie theatre on a Friday or Saturday night if two hot heads
got going over a girl but other than that….nada. The first week he was there just
happened to be the first of the month and wouldn’t ya know it? Three Social
Security checks went missing. David skipped school that day, took the checks
into the city to his favorite little check cashing kiosk and then bought a
boatload of assorted drugs. The least of
which were yellow jackets—that’s speed—and the worst of which was an 8ball of
cocaine. Stopping by to see if Billy and
Anthony were around he talked them into buying him a bottle of Jim Beam, gave
them a 20.00 and told them to keep the change. The three of them spent the
afternoon higher than kites and stupider than door knobs. At the end of the day
David took the bus back to the ‘burbs only to find Mary waiting for him at the
front door. Unknown to David this school
took an interest in its students and when he did not show up for class the Dean
of Students called to find out why that was. Ooops. While Mary was standing there
chewing him out—not too hard it was the boys’ first offense—the only thing
David could think of was how pretty she was.
Her long brown hair and big brown eyes, the kind that are so deep you
can’t hardly see the pupils in them and they seem to go on forever or in this
case to look right through you. Mary’s
face was red as she asked him where he’d been and each time he tried to tell a
little white lie; they must’a made a
mistake, I’se there, I tell ya. I’se in class…..her face got a little
redder and her voice a little higher until she said; “Do you think I’m an idiot, David
Jackson? Do you think I was never young?” He never thought about that. Not
with Mary, he’d only been here a week, but more to the point, he never thought
about that at all. Had Jen and John and even old lady Kent been young
once? Well, yeah, sure they had….they
had to have been. No one was born old. “N—no.” David stammered. “I don’t think
you’re an idiot.” He didn’t. Mary was
very smart and she had several diplomas hanging on the walls of her office
mostly music degrees but one he read was a degree in mathematics. She’d taught music in the local schools for a
while and when she got pregnant she quit working at her husband’s insistence
but a few months later she’d lost the baby and the doctors told her she
couldn’t ever get pregnant again. After that, being around all those kids only
made her depressed so she quit work altogether.
Not that she’d told him any of that, nope, she’d told Danny and Danny
told him. The few young people she taught piano to people who were in their
teens, Mary never took on children. David wasn’t sure why that should be after
so many years but then again, if he knew about Kim, he might understand Mary
better. “I know you skipped school today,
I want you to tell me where you were.” Caught like a rat in a trap. “The park.” He said flatly. “I met up with
some guys at the park,” quickly he went on, “look, ya know, it’s not like I
missed anything, they wasn’t doin’ nuthun’ today anyways.” “They…wasn’t….doin’…nuthun’….anyways?
Well, I think you should make a point of making it to English class every day
even if they ain’t doin’ nuthun’.” She chided. “I don’t want anymore calls like
this, do you understand me? You are to
go to school everyday and learn.” “Yes, ma’am.” He said finally as
his gaze dropped to his feet. “Really, Mrs. Cabral…” “Mary,” she interrupted. “Honestly, Mary I didn’t miss
anything important.” David said softly but firmly. “I promise I’ll go to school
from now on.” Yeah, I’ll just skip class, they don’t call your parents…ah-er-your home…grrr…they
won’t call here…for that. “Listen, David, I know things are
hard on you and Daniel. I’m here for you to talk to you if you want.” Standing
there looking at him Mary couldn’t help but feel a pang of empathy. “It’s all right, David. I only want what’s
best for you and Daniel, that’s all. I’m not trying to bring you down, ok?” “’K.” He could tell by the look in those pretty
brown eyes that she wanted to hug him or touch him or something, he felt funny
about that. “I should see if there’s any homework. Mind if I use the phone?” Mary smiled but not very
convincingly. “Sure, go ahead.” David started to walk off. “You
seen Danny around?” “He’s at the library.” Yeah, where else would he be? “You know, David, the school has
a great baseball team, Ms. Leavenworth told me how much you like to play
baseball. You could try out for the team I don’t mind picking you up after
practice.” Baseball? Where’d that come from?
He hadn’t played on a team in almost two years.
“Yeah, maybe.” He said briskly and then made his way out of the room. Who the fuck had time for baseball anymore,
not him….certainly not! There was money to be made in this shitburg and lots of
cute chicks to fuck…who cared about baseball?
Upstairs in his room David grabbed the phone and poked his head out the
door to listen for Mary. She seemed to be at the bottom of the stairs. Dialing
Johnny Rogers number quickly he smiled. “Hey, Johnny! It’s me Davy, hey,
ya know I wasn’t in class today, could you give me our assignments?” On the other end of the line
Johnny laughed his ass off! “Got caught, did’ja?” He said between bouts of
laughter. Johnny had been with Davy and
a bunch of other kids at the park and then the local graveyard where the spent
the day getting stoned and doing lines of coke.
At the bottom of the stairs Davy
heard Mary walk away so he went into his room with the phone. “Yeah, bitch.” He
grumbled. “Anyway, what are we doin’ tonight? It is Friday and the whore didn’t
ground me so….what is on the old agenda?” “I don’t know about you but me
and some other guys are going over to SouthTown,” that was slang for the arcade
and the liquor store next to it. All the kids hung out in SouthTown on the
weekends. “There’s money to be made, my friend. You holdin’?” “When am I not?” He joked. “I’ll
meet you there ‘bout 8?” “You got it, c'ya then my man.” Davy hung up and checked his
stash. He was running low on pot; he’d
have to make a trip into the city to see Billy before he made his way to
SouthTown for the evening. Might want to stop in and see old Jack Smith—even at
14 Davy was sure that was not the guy’s name but, even at 14, he was smart
enough not to ask too many questions—for a re-up on the coke stash. The bored burb kids would want to par-tay
tonight and Davy was the man with the goods. They all came to see him sooner or
later. Even a few of the teachers started sniffing around his back door and if
that kept up, he’d graduate high school with a 4.0 and never do a lick of
homework. Yep, at the moment, his future
was so bright he needed a pair of shades. Or so he thought. An hour later something
downstairs started smelling really really good and his stomach started
rumbling. Mary might a prude and a hard ass but she was one hell of a cook! It
smelled like there was a big old pot roast on the menu tonight. Walking out of his room to check on the food
situation he heard the shower running. The bathroom was on his way to the
stairs but he didn’t expect to find the door half open. Mary and he were the only ones
home and obviously he wasn’t in the shower. David stopped at the door and
peeked inside. There she was. Pretty
Mary. Sweet Mary. She was all of 5’5 and
115 lbs, most of it in her tits and that fine round ass. She wasn’t a brassy pretty like Jen had been
but a real natural beauty; the-girl-next-door kind of pretty and he liked
that. There was a lot of steam in the
bathroom and soon the shower shut off. He stepped away from the door as the
curtain pulled back and she stepped out of the shower all wet and naked. Pretty Mary. Sweet Mary. She had a body that would make
the angels sing; didn’t that make Bill a lucky man? You bet your ass it
did! Mary was way out of his league just
on account of her age she certainly wasn’t going to give it up to him no matter
how hard his cock was or how much he might dream about it at night. Standing there watching her dry off he
realized the steam was fading and soon she’d have a clear view of the door, not
being stupid, David walked away before that could happen. Shutting the door to his own room tightly he
lay back on the bed, got out his cock and the bottle of Jergens lotion he kept
in the nightstand and jerked off to the image of his foster mother running wild
in his head. Just as he was cleaning
himself up there was a knock on the door.
Danny, the little shit was never
late for anything and it was exactly 6:30 and he was about to say…. “Davy? You in there? Mary says
it’s time for supper.” “Little worm,” Davy mumbled
putting his cock back in his jeans. “I’m comin’.” He called through the
door. Dinner was indeed a big old pot
roast with potatoes, carrots, gravy, and an apple pie for dessert. Yessir, Mary
Cabral was one hell of a cook. Well, then again, other than the odd piano
lesson what the hell else did she have to do with her day? Bang the mailman?
Nah, she didn’t look like the type. Knowing he was already in trouble
Davy volunteered to help with the dishes and once in the kitchen told Mary that
he and Danny were going out for a while and since it was Friday they probably
wouldn’t be home ‘til about midnight or so.
He knew that Mary would give him shit over it if he just said that HE
was going out but since he was taking the goodie-goodie with him, David knew
she'd figure it was all right. “Midnight,
no later, understand? You’re only 14 you
don’t need to be out later than that.” “Yes, ma’am.” David said with a
smile. Leaving the kitchen he grabbed
Danny by the upper arm and hoisted him from the chair where he was still
finishing off his pie. “Come on it’s time to go.” “G—“ Danny caught the look in his
brother’s eye and decided to play along. “Can I get my jacket?” “Hurry up.” Danny got his jacket and met Davy
out in front of the house. “What’s goin’ on?” “We’re out for a night on the
town, baby brother. What a night it’s
gonna be.” Yeah, do the little worm good if he got loose and maybe laid. That thought almost made Davy break out in a
fit of hysterics, the kind of you can’t stop laughing until you’re crying like
a baby and your sides ache. Laid? Loose?
Danny…no fuckin’ way! “We’re gonna start
with the old neighborhood.” “What? Look Davy I got home
work…” “And two days to do it in.” Davy
grabbed him by the upper arm harshly and led him down the street where they
flagged a cab and took it into the city. “How are we payin’ for this?”
Danny whispered as he leaned in to his brother. “I don’t have any money.” “I got plenty, don’t worry,
tonight’s on me.” Davy said proudly. The cab pulled to a stop in front of
Billy’s house, Danny recognized it he’d been here once or twice looking for
Davy. “You can hold on to my brother as
collateral.” Davy joked as he climbed out of the cab. “I’ll be back. Gimmie
five-ten minutes.” He said to the cab drive and then he was gone into the dusk.
Fifteen minutes later Davy climbed back into the cab $200.00 poorer and a ¼
pound heavier. “Let’s go, my man, down
to the center of town. Got another man to see.”
Twenty minutes later they were stopped in front of a run down house in a
neighborhood that stunk like piss. Danny locked the back doors of the cab and
sunk down on the seat waiting for Davy.
This time when he came back he was $250.00 poorer and 8 grams heavier. The cab driver turned him and
said. “Look boys, I gotta see some flash before we go any further. The meter is
already up to $30.00.” David handed over a fifty. “Keep
it for the return trip. Take us to SouthTown and that’ll be it for the evening
my good man.” He said in a high toned voice. The cabbie pocketed Ulysses S.
Grant and drove on. “Where are we going now?” Danny
griped. “I wanna go home, you go do whatever it is you’re gonna do but leave me
out of it.” “No can do, Danny, nope, sorry
Charlie. You’re my puppy for the night. Do you think they would have let me out
of the house without your sorry nerdy ass?” “No, you skipped school today and
they called Mary. I know cuz I was in Dean Warner’s office when….” “You? In the Dean’s office?” Davy
looked at his brother with a heavy measure of suspicion. “Yeah, he was telling me that I
made first honors for the quarter and the semester.” Davy let out a ‘pffff’ sound.
Well didn’t that figure? Little brainiac. “Good for you Danny. Good for you.” Lets see if we can’t burn off some of them
brain cells tonight. “Don’t worry, Cinderella, I’ll have ya home by
mid-night.” Within an hour of hitting the
arcade Davy was almost sold out of his stash and darn near $300.00 to the good.
He was having a banner night even Danny was leaving him alone that was mainly
because he’d caught the eye of one Andrea Stillman and she was doing everything
she could to chat him up. Andrea was a snotty preppy little twit who had a bad
coke habit and an even worse habit of screwing anything that crossed her path;
all that she was only 16. Danny played his cards right he might get laid after
all. Nah. Not Danny. The boy was never
going to have sex! Getting on 11 o’clock and Davy
was sold out for the night with almost $600.00 in cold hard cash in his
pocket. All night long Danny kept giving
him dirty looks and asking why he was so popular and what all these older kids
wanted with him. Such a dweeb. Davy ignored him for the most part but Danny was
able to get away from Andrea just as Davy was making his last deal for the
night and the little shit caught the whole thing. “It was bad enough when I thought
you were smokin’ pot and tootin’….you’re sellin’ it to these kids? They’ll put
your ass in jail for that!” Danny complained bitterly. “Don’t be an ass, Danny, ok, that
was the last a’ what I got for the night so just shut up.” Davy was fourteen the worst that could happen
was they’d take his stash and put him in Juvy for a few days. Big fuckin’
deal. “Why don’t you go see if can’t
slide your dick down Andrea’s throat and leave me alone.” Davy stuffed the last
of the cash into his pocket. “Of course,
you could always get stoned with me.” “I don’t think so.” “Neither did I.” “I’m goin’ home.” Danny said and
started to walk away. “I don’t think so on that one
either, baby brother. We got another hour out here.” “Why? I mean, if you’re sold out
n’ all why don’t we just get outta here before the cops show up or something.” Little fucking jinx! Just then a black and white
pulled up to the SouthTown Arcade. Those kids that were holding slowly slunk
off into the night and those that weren’t didn’t care. Davy should have been one of the latter but
since he had all that money in his pocket…. “You’re right, Danny, let’s go
home.” “Well, David Jackson.” A voice
said from behind them. “I didn’t know
there were two of you.” Slowly Davy turned around at the
sound of the familiar and very unwelcome voice. “Office Graham,” he said, “how
nice to see you again. This here is my brother, Danny.” “You knock over headstones too,
Danny?” The cop asked. “Me? Knock…no.” Danny stumbled. “How ‘bout the elderly’s Social
Security checks? You like stealing them, Danny?” “No.” He said in a voice that
seemed stronger than before but actually it was just agitation. “Good for you, son. Good for you.
Your brother here, he likes those things, don’t you, David?” “Now, Officer Graham, I know I’ve
been in the wrong place at the wrong time once or twice but you ain’t never
caught me doin’ any of those things, have ya?” He asked slyly. “Just a matter of time, David.
Boy like you is destined to spend his youth in MacAllister’s.” Irving MacAllister’s Home for Wayward Boys
was what Officer Graham was talking about to put it more plainly, Juvenile
Hall. The cop gave David the hard eye and a good once over. “There’s a curfew
in this town, if you start home now you might make it.” “Will do, Officer. You have a
nice night now,” Davy said with a grin. “Don’t run into too many bad guys out
there keeping these streets safe for good folks like me and my brother.” He
looped an arm around Danny’s neck and watched the cop walk off. “You do that?” Danny shirked off
his brother’s arm. “Are you out of your mind? Stealing Social Security checks?
Why don’t you just take mine? Knocking over headstones and skipping school?
What the hell is wrong with you, Davy?” Danny stepped away from. “You’re
selling drugs to these kids and taking them. What happened to you?” “Life.” That was David’s one word
answer and it pretty much summed up everything. End Chapter Three Of The Life Of David: Blood Ties II |
