Hypnotize The Moon Chapter Six It’s
a good thing that she hadn’t eaten yet that day. Otherwise it might
have been more of a mess. She never did hear the General tell them that
the good news was that they got more time off, and sent them back home.
She was still throwing up when everyone came over too her and asked
if she was going to be ok. Sam brought her some water. Jennifer
kept stressing that this was all her fault. Everyone kept telling her
that it wasn’t. That everything was going to be ok. She didn’t know
what to think. Daniel got her up and took her to see Janet, just to
make sure everything was ok. Janet gave her a shot of prochlorperazine
and gave her a prescription for some sleeping pills. Other than that,
Janet said she was fine. She
told Daniel there was something she had to talk to General Hammond about,
and then she would be right there. She assured him that she was fine.
He agreed and went up to the surface to get to his car. She knocked
on General Hammond’s door. “Enter.” He stated. ` “Ah Jennifer are you feeling better?” “Am now thanks to Janet. Thanks sir
for more time off. We really need it. Now about that question!” “Go On.” “Well since we have 2 weeks off. I
was wondering so Teal’c doesn’t have to stay here on base, or spend
the whole two weeks with Jack, Could he stay with us?” “You have my permission. Go ask him
if he wants to go with you.” She
ran over and hugged the general. He kind of got used to that with her
being around. She was always thoughtful to everyone and liked everyone.
Now all she had to do was find T. She went to his quarters, where she
found him. She lightly knocked. “Come in.” Teal’c said. She
opened the door and said “Hey T, Daniel and I were wanting to know
if you wanted to come stay with us for two weeks. You wont have to put
up with fishing with O’Neill.” Teal’c looked up at her and bowed his head. He grabbed his stuff that he would need for his kel‘no‘reem, some clothing and walked out with her. They were like two best friends without cares in the world. She got topside and they asked her if she got clearance for T to go with her. She told them yes and they let her pass. Jennifer
knew that Teal’c knew were the spare room was, but thought it polite
to show him anyway. He told her that he was going to meditate for a
few hours, she told him that was fine, she was going to work on getting
dinner, and Daniel probably had a translation or two to get to in the
Den. Jennifer walked out the door and ran smack dab into Daniel. She
looked up and smiled at him. He loved it when she did that. It was a
big turn on for him. She stepped around him, she was going into
their room to change. She was going to be cooking and wanted to put
on some other clothes. Daniel followed her into the room and shut the
door. Not something that he was used to. “Jen, why did you invite Teal’c here?” “I’m sorry are you mad? I know I
should have asked first but, I figured it was either him be stuck on
base for two weeks, stuck with Jack, for two weeks, or here with us.
Plus I wanted to get into the mind of Apophis. To try and know why he
does some of the things he does. I wanted to see if he could shed some
light on the subject.” Daniel
was a little worried about her, but he pushed that worried feeling away.
He knew what it was like, living with people that he called his friends
and family, only to see it all be destroyed by the Gou’ld. She got
done getting dressed and walked over to him. She kissed him on the lips,
he pulled back and kissed her on the forehead. He knew if they wanted
to eat today he was going to have to pull back. She
opened the door and walked out. She walked to the fridge and opened
it looking in it to see what to make for dinner. She hollered to Daniel
to see if steaks were OK for him and Teal’c. They both said that it
was fine. She had the steaks on the table with Mashed potatoes, and
gravy, and some carrots. Which were her favorite. Twenty
minutes later Daniel walked into the kitchen to see if she needed any
help. She told him to set the table because dinner was done. She made
coffee for him, she had a Pepsi, and Teal’c had tea. After dinner
Daniel wanted to go work on some things. That left her and Teal’c
alone. She needed to talk to him about the Goua’ld, now was as good
a time as any she thought. Daniel
got up and kissed her on the forehead and went into the den to work.
Jennifer got up and grabbed her plate and his and put it in the sink.
Teal’c grabbed his as well and asked if she would like help with the
dishes. She told him that he could help. She would wash them and he
would dry them. Ten minutes later the dishes were clean and put up. She
walked out into the living room and grabbed the folder that she had
brought home with the M.A.L.P. Report of where she used to live. She
wanted to look at the pictures better to see if there was anyone else
that she recognized. She was studying each one really closely,
Teal’c was watching her and was worried. He had never seen her like
this before. She seemed obsessed with this. She
then recognized a little girl in the photo. It was of Tayla, a little
girl who she practically thought of as her own. She was with that girl
all the time. The girl lived with her, along with another family. Tayla
was clutching the doll in her hand while she was laying there dying.
Jennifer sunk to the floor, pulled her knees up to her chest, and started
sobbing. She was caressing the picture as she was doing this. This really
alarmed Teal’c, he went to the den and got Daniel. Told him what was
wrong. He ran out the door and too to her. She wasn’t responding to
anything really. The End Chapter Six Of
