Chapter Eleven

Jack sat down and held her hand, knowing that what he was about to tell her was going to rip her apart. He told her of how she was brainwashed by Ba’al. How she had fucked Jack, Teal’c, three Jaffa, and Ba’al himself. After all the details she felt sick.  

“No wonder Daniel doesn’t want me anymore.” She sobbed. Who could blame him with what happened there.  
 
“Not want you, who said I didn’t want you.” He said walking back into the room. He walked over and kissed her forehead. She just loved it when he did that.  

“I just figured since I fucked two of your best friends that you wouldn’t want me.” she sobbed even harder. 

“Let me ask you this question, and that will explain why I’m not mad. Did you know what you were doing?” He asked 

“No, but I still did it. Oh Daniel I am so sorry. What happens if I do become pregnant?” she asked still crying. 

“Baby, we will deal with that when the time comes.” Daniel kissed her some more.  

She wanted to make light of the situation. She knew if she joked about it than she would be ok and so would everyone else. That there wouldn’t be that weirdness looming there. She looked up at Jack, and looked him in the eyes and said “So was I good?” she laughed. 

Believe it or not Daniel and the rest of the team laughed. “Not as good as I expected, but then with Daniel as a teacher why would you be good.” Jack joked. The rest laughed at that as well. Jack and the rest of SG1 knew that they were a team again. Things happen, and they understand that. Although sometimes they wonder why, it would happen to them. Why can’t some of the bad things happen to other teams?  

Jennifer was better a few days later, she was able to go home. Janet said that if she started feeling sick or anything, to come back. She thanked her and assured her that she would. They got a week off, which they were happy about. Neither Jack nor Teal’c would forget their encounter with Jennifer. She was beyond good, and they wished that they would be able to do it again, Knowing that they could never could 

Jennifer and Daniel got home a little after Nine PM. Neither one of them really spoke about the incident for a week. He let her have her space, and she thought that he was still mad and was avoiding her.  This went on for the whole week they were gone. He had even started sleeping in the guest room. Which was unusual, all she wanted to do was be held all night. But he was pushing her away.  

She often wondered if she knew then, what she knows now, if she would have taken the job. Would she risked herself and her wonderful life with Daniel. If she could give it all up now she would. She had been working there almost a year now, and too many things had happened to her and him. She was surprised that they survived as long as they did.  

They went back into work a week later, Jack could sense the tension between her and Daniel. They walked into their office, not with the normal smile that they had, not with that spark of love. Something was missing there, and everyone who came into contact with them saw that. 

“I’m going to see Janet. Its time for my check-up.” She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. Afraid that if she kissed him anywhere else that he would get mad. With that she walked out the door, lost in thought, and smacked right into Jack. 

“I’m sorry, I didn’t see you. I guess I’m just lost in thought. What can I do for you Jack?” she stated more cheerful than he had seen her lately. 

“Can I walk you to the infirmary so we can talk?” he stated.  

“Sure thing, I would love the company! What’s on your mind?” she asked.

 
“What’s going on with you and Daniel?” He asked. 

Her eyes got suddenly sad, and she sucked in a breath and said “I don’t know, he’s pushing me away. Ever since that mission, he has been acting funny. I’m scared Jack.” She started bawling.  Jack grabbed her into an embrace and started hugging her the whole way there. 
 
Daniel was watching most of it, He had come out of his office feeling like an idiot for not walking her to the infirmary. But when he walked outside he saw Jack and her lost in conversation, her crying and him hugging her telling her it will be alright.  Daniel was instantly jealous. Not knowing what to do but go back into his office and sulk. He threw things and they shattered against the wall.

 
Sam heard the commotion and ran into the room. She could see the hurt in his eyes, she could feel his pain. Not knowing what it was about. She stepped into the room and stopped Daniel from throwing more things. He explained on what was going on. She knew he was just over reacting. Sam also had some issues to deal with. 

When in the infirmary Janet did her normal testing, she asked her how she felt. She had been feeling nauseated lately.  She has been wanting to sleep more, and she was sore. Janet knew the symptoms. She was afraid that this might happen. She gave Jennifer a pregnancy test and it came back positive. 

She passed out from the news. Janet then called SG1 to the infirmary. They all came racing in and saw Jennifer lying in a bed. Daniel was sorry for everything that he had thought.  

“What happened to her Janet?” Daniel said just as Jennifer woke up. 
 
She started crying. “Daniel, I’m sorry. I love you so much, I don’t want to lose you. I’m so sorry.” 

“What is it?” 
 
“I’m pregnant, and I don’t know yet whose it is.” she just bawled, 

“Oh baby, its ok, we will get through this. Janet when can we find out whose it is?” 

“Let me do the test and I will let you know in a week.” 

Janet did the test. A week later and she called SG1 to her office to tell them the news. 

“The baby’s father is……”
