Chapter Four

 

A week later they finally arrived back on base. Their honeymoon over, back to the daily life of going on missions. When they stepped through the gate, Jack had a bunch of questions for Daniel and Jennifer. He mainly wondered if they enjoyed themselves.

All Jennifer and Daniel would do is just look at Jack with and evil grin and walk away. It took a few days for them to get back into the funk of things. Jennifer now was thinking about Christmas. It was about three weeks away. She just had to buy a few more Christmas gifts then she was going to be ready.

 

They walked to their office hand in hand. Not a care in the world. They stopped dead in their tracks when they looked at all the work piled on their desks. The world would literally fall apart if either of them quit. No one would have anyone to read translations.

 

They both got to work on the stacks of papers that they had to go through. By noon, almost all of them were done. Until one of the airmen walked in with a lot more in his hand. Would it ever end, no more vacations, Jennifer thought.

 

She took a look at one in front of her. It was weird, nothing she had ever seen. Maybe Daniel could read it, she knew she couldn’t. She handed it to Daniel, and asked him to take a look at this. When he looked down and saw that it was  ancient and saw what it said he jumped up really quick and ran out the door.

 

She wondered what had him so worked up, what did it say? She found Daniel along with the rest of SG1 in General Hammonds office. He asked the General when these were taken, and if the team was back yet.

When the general explained that they just got back about ten minutes ago, Daniel told them to meet him in the infirmary. Still no one knew what was going on. When they all arrived in the infirmary, Janet had a strange look on her face, she knew what Daniel did. Something was wrong, What they didn’t know yet.

 

When Janet told them that their DNA had been altered, everyone jumped, besides Daniel. He already knew. One of the airmen grabbed Jennifer and held her close. Telling them to let them back through the gate, so they could go home. They were altered so they were no longer human. They were another species altogether.

 

They wanted to see what our world looked like, and they didn’t mean any harm. General Hammond informed them that they were not going anywhere and to hand over Jennifer. They still would not do it. They picked her up and carried her out of the room, holding a knife to her.

They really didn’t want to hurt this Tau’ri but they felt their life was in danger. She begged General Hammond to let them go. She really believed that they didn’t mean any harm. General Hammond didn’t really know what to do. He didn’t want to let them get away but he didn’t want them to hurt Jennifer either. General Hammond gave the order to open the gate, to the coordinates that they supplied. Before they entered the gate one of the new alien species, held their hand to Jennifer’s belly and said there is life.

 

This confused her a little, not knowing what they meant. They walked through the gate, never to be seen from again. Her and Daniel went back to work. Even though General Hammond said they could have the day off. Only she was the one that heard something about the life. But she wasn’t going to mention it to anyone, seeing as how she didn’t know what the being meant.

 

They went home about five pm. They stopped at the mall on the way home. Jennifer still had some Christmas shopping to do.  Daniel really didn’t want to be with her so she called Janet and Sam and they met her there. Daniel gave her the credit card and told her to have fun.

 

He kissed her before he dropped her off, and told her he’d see her at home. With that he drove off, to go do a little Christmas shopping of his own. Jennifer, Sam, and Janet stopped at Victoria’s Secret. Jennifer wanted to get something to blow Daniels mind Christmas Eve, and this was just the store to do it.

He loved it when she wore the lotion Love Spell, so that was in the mix, she had to pick up some of that. When she walked in her eyes went wide. She saw something too perfect. She knew he was going to love it. It was just a matter of keeping it away from Daniel until that night.

She had just the perfect place. She was going to have Janet hold on to it, Daniel eat your heart out she said.  All the girls looked at what she was looking at, they knew Daniel was going to flip a lid with this outfit.  She got it and some perfume and lotions, she also needed some underwear for everyday use.

 

So they got everything that they needed to finish Christmas Shopping. The only thing that they needed was each others gift. They knew that they would get that at another time. Janet and Sam dropped Jennifer off at home, she saw the car wasn’t in the drive way. She figured he was probably Christmas shopping too.

 

She walked in and put her stuff up, and had it all wrapped by the time Daniel came in. Everything looked perfect. She had the house decorated, the tree up, and the holly and Mistletoe up. It was going to be perfect this year. Everything he ever wanted was going to come true. He wanted her and to be with his friends this holiday season.

 

She noticed he was there, she got up and went over and planted a huge kiss on him. He dropped everything he had in bags and embraced her, nothing was breakable so it was ok that he did this.

He took her by the hand and led her into the bedroom where they made love the rest of the night.

 

Two weeks later

 

Christmas eve was finally here, and she was getting sick. Every time you turned around she was throwing up. She promised Daniel that she would go see Janet this morning. He asked if she was ok to go alone cause he still had some things to do before Christmas. She assured him that she was fine to go by herself.

 

Janet asked the usual questions she asked, “Were you around anyone who was sick.” “What is going on, tell me your symptoms,” and “When was your last period.”

 

Just then she realized what those alien friends had said about three weeks ago. She had life living in her. She was pregnant again, meaning she would have gotten pregnant on her honeymoon. Janet saw that look in her eyes and tested her. She was pregnant. Daniel was going to be so excited. Wait, what if he wasn’t. She thought about last time. Could she go through losing another baby?

 

She was so happy though. Janet gave her some prenatal vitamins and told her to come back in about a month and she will check some more. Since they went through the gate all the time, she wanted to do a checkup every month, so nothing will happen with the baby, no hidden surprises.

 

Janet let her go, and she walked out of there in a daze. Not believing what she had heard. Can she really be pregnant. She finally gets to have a child with Daniel. What a wonderful Christmas present. She couldn’t wait to tell him.

She had just the perfect idea. She arranged to meet Janet at her house that night to get what she bought form Victoria’s Secret. She made Daniel go out and get something, making him be gone for about an hour. When he got back, he was surprised.

There were a trail of Candle’s lit all the way to their bedroom. He found a note on the bed that told him to get comfortable, that he was going to enjoy this. So he did, he heard some Heart Start playing, the tune Magic Man. He saw her come into view, in a leather bra, and garter, with chaps on, showing her thronged ass. With a whip in her hand and a top hat on her head.

 

Dancing with the music of Heart. Giving him a lap dance and Stripping. Oh he was very much enjoying this. She stripped everything off and got on the bed and straddled his dick, not waiting on him to eat her or anything. She just wanted him so badly. She had to have him, he saw how worked up she was. He enjoyed seeing this.

 

It was 2 am when they got done making love. It was actually Christmas Day, and she finally looked at him.

 

“Daniel, I have something to tell you.”

 

He looked at her a little funny and said “ok, what is it baby? You can tell me anything.”

 

She pulled his hand up to her stomach and said “I’m Pregnant.”

 

He looked at her then looked back, did he hear her right? Pregnant, with his child. So unbelievable. She told him that she got pregnant on their honeymoon, and he was ecstatic.  He couldn’t wait to tell everyone. He held her through the rest of the night.

 

She got up about ten am and put the turkey in the oven. That’s what they were having for dinner since they missed thanksgiving. Jack, Sam, Teal’c and Janet were all suppose to come over at any minute. She threw her maternity pants on from when she was pregnant the last time. They fit, Daniel could tell that she’s a little plump.

 

He loved the pregnant look that she has. He was sitting there watching her when he heard a knock at the door. He got up to see Jack, Sam, Teal’c, and Janet, all at the door with gifts in their hands. Jennifer came out of the kitchen to greet them. Not realizing she stopped under the mistletoe. Jack looked up and seized the opportunity, he pulled her in close and kissed her.

 

Everyone just stood there shocked until they looked up and saw that there was mistletoe. Jack pulled away and Jennifer was a little worried. She looked at everyone, and saw the look on her face. They started laughing and pointing up to the mistletoe.

 

“I guess I am going to have to be more careful where I stand.” She laughed.

 

Jack and Sam noticed that she put on a little weight but never said anything. Teal’c handed Jennifer the gifts to put under the tree. Which she did, she was like a little child, she didn’t want to wait to open presents. So she sat down and told them all to have a seat.

 

Jennifer handed Janet her present from her and Daniel.  Janet opened it and there was a pretty pair of diamond earrings. They were about a karat total weight. She gasped when she saw them. She couldn’t believe it. She pulled out a box that had Cassie’s name on it and handed it to Janet.

 

Janet explained that Cassie couldn’t be here because she was with her boyfriends family. They all understood. Then Daniel handed a present to Jennifer. She opened it to find a set of keys. This confused her, “Thanks, I get a set of keys!” she laughed. Daniel picked her up and pulled her close. He put his hands over her face and opened the garage door, there stood a red Crysler Sebring Convertible. The car she had always wanted.  She gasped and hugged him.

 

They now had a total of 3 cars, which was going to be good for the baby. They had Daniel’s SUV, her Chevy Colbalt, and now the convertible. She jumped up and put her legs around his waste and kissed him. He carried her back into the house and they continued on with the presents.

Jennifer handed Jack his present. It was some fishing lures, a tackle box, and a top of the line fishing pole. Then they gave Sam hers, she got a diamond necklace and a pair of pajamas that Jennifer saw and couldn’t live without buying. Daniel gave Teal’c his gift, they got him a hand made Jaffa training stick, an mp3 player, the movie Starwars, and candles for when he meditates.

 

She got up and walked into the bedroom to grab Daniels present. He opened it, and gasped. She got him a new watch, a book about archeology, and an autographed copy of one of his favorite books that he loved. He enjoyed everything he got from her.

 

It was now Jacks turn to hand out gifts. He gave Daniel and Jennifer some new bedding, that Jennifer had picked out one time when they were shopping together. He gave Sam a beautiful diamond necklace, he gave Janet a nice new stethoscope, and gave Teal’c some more movies.

Janet got everyone clothing that they needed, and Sam got personalized gifts for everyone as well. Jennifer got up to check the turkey and Janet came in to help out.

“Did you tell Daniel yet?” Janet asked.

 

“Yep I told him last night right after I did my dance.” she laughed.

 

Janet made the stuffing and the potatoes, Daniel came in and carved the turkey and Sam and Jack had brought some food as well. They sat down for a nice dinner, Jack poured everyone a glass of wine and sat down. Jennifer wouldn’t drink it and he asked if everything was ok. She agreed, but got up and ran to the bathroom.

 

The smell of the Alcohol and the smell of the food got to her.  She came back and looked white, Janet had brought something with her for the nausea cause she figured she would need it.  She handed it too her under the table and  everyone was looking at her funny. She just shrugged and smiled and they broke into the food.
