Chapter 16 - Part 1: Interstellar Weddings for Dummies

"But since u been asking about the friends
How’d u like it if both our names had
Jackson on the ends
I really like what you’ve done to me
can’t really explain it
I’m so into you..."

"So what do we do, just toss invitations through the 'Gate?"

"Actually, I have no idea how to go about this." Sam giggled. She and Annie had been talking about the wedding for hours in her lab. Sam laughed.

"I'll contact my Dad. He'll get word to the rest of the Tok'Ra." Annie frowned.

"Sam, your Dad doesn't like me." Sam was confused.

   "That’s not true Annie. Dad's just old fashioned.....and you’re...."

   "Not."

   "Pretty much."

Annie looked down at herself. No, she supposed she wasn't. She'd rebraided her bangs. During doing that, she'd been sitting on the bed, watching Fuse TV wearing nothing but her thong and a tank top. Daniel had seen her and thought she looked like a teenager. Oh god, he was turning into a pervert. Annie smiled; she had caught that thought, and thought if he was it was just fine with her. Perverted could be a fabulous way to spend a night or two.

She'd come to work free of the finery of the night before. Elbow length fishnet gloves with the tips cut off, and another pair of black half gloves over those. Her matching thigh highs, these had red ribbons around the tops with little bows in the front. A vinyl skirt with a chain belt, a Sex Pistols t-shirt with the neck cut out, one shoulder hanging off, high black chunky boots, her jewelry, necklaces, bracelets, her piercings in place, pigtails with their skull holders, spiked collar and to top it all off, a brand new naquada engagement ring. She shook out her long black tails, and smirked with sensual black lips.

"Well, Daniel likes it. In fact, he actually went WITH me to pick out this skirt. I caught him staring at it at Hot Topic." Sam laughed.

"Get out!" Annie shook her head.

  "I shit you not."

Daniel walked into Sam’s lab to get her opinion on the science of a new artifact. The writing was complex, and seemed to be math oriented. He came to a complete stop when he noticed Annie standing there, leaned over the edge of the table, talking to Sam. She had her hips out and was rocking back and forth. She turned around and put her hand on her hip. She looked at him with those black rimmed green eyes, and saw where his eyes were.

  "Can we help you Doctor?"

Daniel knew he had a reason, but couldn't remember it. He blinked. Annie turned and winked at Sam. Who hid a smile and gave Daniel the same questioning look.

"Yes Daniel....did you need something?" Oh, I need something alright. Dammit, she looks so good.

"Uhhhhh.." Annie smirked and stuck her ass out further, so he could catch just a look at the top of her globes. Daniel froze. Sam watched. She knew Annie was playing with Daniel, but couldn't help being amused. Sam had never met anyone who was as comfortable and free with sex as Annie. She oozed it; it dripped off her like wax off a burning candle. She was utterly shameless but only for one man, and it seemed she made it a personal mission in life to open up Daniel, and make him see the brighter things in life. Lightning. She didn't know how Daniel handled it. He'd always been so shy and reserved. But with Annie, he was embarrassed, but there was a spark in his eye that promised the sweetest kind of revenge, and their game was endearing and fun to watch.

"I'm sure you'll figure it out. Won't you baby?" Annie brushed past Daniel, and let her fingers "accidentally" move across his side in a teasing caress as she walked by them. Daniel blinked, and cleared his throat as his wicked fiancée' slithered out of the room.

"Oh...Sam...I just remembered what it was." Sam laughed. Of course he did.

Annie walked into the gym, seeing out Teal'c. She sat on the benches and waited until he finished his lifting before she called out.

  "Hey T!"

"AnnieWhite, I am pleased to see you."

"Likewise, hey, can you do me a favor, because I have no idea how to do it."

 "You have but to ask."

"Well, we're trying to get all our allies to the wedding, but I don't know how to contact the rebel Jaffa."

"I will contact Raknor and Bra'tac as soon as I am able." Annie smiled brightly.

"Will R'yac be able to attend?" Annie titled her head. She knew the meaning of the rebel movement and his family.

"I am sure he will be most honored."

"Thank you T! I haven't met Bra'tac or your son and I'd like to."

"You are interested in the rebel movement?"

"Yes, of course. You're my family T, and anything that makes you happy is something I'm interested in." Annie titled her head and pulled out a lollipop. Teal'c frowned.

"Did DanielJackson not tell you to stop consuming lollipops?"

"Yeah, but I never listen to him, why start now?" She laughed, "Thanks for your help Teal'c!" Annie called, jumping down.

   Teal'c inclined his head.

"Do you intend to continue training for offworld travel?"

"Yeah....soon as my last name is Jackson." Annie laughed and patted his shoulder before walking out of the gym, turning around to wave, lollipop firmly in her mouth.

Teal'c smiled. AnnieWhite was indeed strange, but she brought life back into DanielJacksons eyes and had the heart of a warrior. Yes, DanielJackson chose well.

Annie stopped off at General Hammond's office. She always knocked, giving the man the respect due him. He looked up and waved her in. He was on the phone. She waited until he was finished.

"Miss White, come on in." Annie walked in and sat in one of the seats opposite him.

"What may I do for you?"

"I wanted to give you this. We are giving them to family."

The special silver embossed invitation had heavy cloth paper and pictures inside, along with a special package. It contained a bit of naquada dust, a little metal ring, and a red ribbon. It was a beautifully put together.

"We...we wanted everyone’s to be unique. We gave you a red ribbon to stand for your late wife."

Hammond’s eyes stung. This girl had a way of making you feel like she cared about you deeply, not saying it, but meaning it. The way she looked was no longer an issue to anyone. Especially him.

"Thank you very much young lady."

"That's all. I have to go find Daniel. I'll talk to you soon General."

   "Goodday Miss White."

"General.....call me Annie." She smiled brightly and slipped out. Hammmond looked at the invitation. Family. Well, he supposed that was true. To be honest, it seemed like she'd always been here.

Annie slipped into Daniels office to find him and Jack discussing something. When Daniel looked up, they stopped talking. Annie gave them a 'are you kidding' look.

"Bachelor party?" She said, folding her arms over her chest.

    "Uuuhhhh....yeah." Jack admitted lamely.

"Do you really think I care? Just remember, I know where you sleep." Daniel shivered.

"Jack, I don't think...." Annie spread her legs and sank into Daniels chair on his lap.

"It's okay, I trust you, and you know where your bread is buttered anyway," Annie ground her bare womanhood on his thigh, "Don't you?"

"Yeah...." He said his eyes glazed.

"Jack?" Annie looked over to face the Col.

    "Yeah?"

"Could you do us a favor and contact Thor for us. I don't know if they'll get it, but I think they deserve an invitation. Oh, and you'll find your invitation on your desk."

"Sure Brat. Lesee if my buddy wants to go to a little shindig." Jack laughed.

    "Jack?"

    "Yeah." Annie smirked at Daniel.

"Lock the door on your way out would you?"

   Jack snickered and strolled out.

"Well, that’s three for three. I have Sam contacting the Tok'ra, T contacting the Jaffa, and Jack contacting the Asguard. I gave out the invitations and booked the gate room. Now...where’s my reward?" Daniel blinked. Then remembered her earlier tease. Those globes of ass and pretty thigh highs. He smiled wickedly.

"Right here." He said, rubbing his hand over his growing erection. He was going to tease her for a bit, then he thought about the hard work she was putting into this wedding so he could work. And she still brought him his coffee. Never mind the teasing.

He unbuckled his belt, undid his zipper, and pulled his pants down. He never took his eyes off hers as he picked her up, and put one hand over her mouth, and used the other to guide himself inside her. His eyes rolled back. She was so ready. He could feel her juices drip onto him before he even got inside her.  When she dropped onto him, her whole body stiffened, and she screamed against his hand. He felt her walls contract. Oh god, she'd had an orgasm from just him entering her. Daniel realized how desperate she'd been for their connection.

"Dammit baby.....you should've said something." She whimpered.

"You've been busy, I didn't want to be in your face while you were trying to get things done." Daniel smiled. "Ohhh Annie, I appreciate the time, but you worked so hard too and you deserve a rich, long reward. Don't worry about it baby....I've got what you need." He gripped her hips and thrust into her. She panted and leaned against the desk to keep balance as he impaled her over and over again. He pulled her forward and latched onto her pale throat with his mouth. He sucked on her favorite spot just over her artery.

  "Daniel....oh GOD.....Daniel....."

  "Yeah......."

Daniel listened to her pant and squeak, too wound up to even scream or cry out. He felt her come about five times before he noted she was having an orgasm with every thrust he gave her. And he couldn't feel her either.

   "Annie...I can't.....feel you..."

   "I can’t.....if I open it up.....I'm not sure....."

   "Open it Annie...." Daniel begged.

She did. She opened the floodgates of her mind, her telepathic power out of control. Oh god. Daniel was overtaken by her. Her desperation her need. He started to pump faster, feeling nothing, seeing nothing but her. He felt her dig her fingers into his side, into his scar, and he cried out. The pleasure was painful at this point. The pressure built and then, his blood turned into heated metal and they both barely contained the sounds as they had one orgasm, one huge orgasm that shook the foundations of their minds. Daniel couldn't breathe, the firestorm in his consciousness taking seemingly forever to burn out. Finally, the feeling stopped, and their minds retreated from the bond. Silence descended. Neither could talk.

An airman passing Jack in the hallway turned to him.

"Colonel, there are strange noises coming from Dr. Jackson’s office. Should we sound the alarm?"

"Airman, you are to forget you ever heard a thing. Are we clear?"

  "Yes Sir!"

Even though Annie was like a daughter to him, his first thought was 'You give it to her good Danny'. Jack shook his head. Too many years around the marines.

Panting, spent, exhausted, Daniel and Annie collapsed on the chair. He let his head fall back, and discovered the room was spinning. Annie smiled against his chest.

"How about I skip the party, you can strip for me, and we'll spend the night eating ice cream and screwing." Daniel said bluntly.

   "Yep.....sounds like a perfect plan."

And much to the chagrin of just about everyone involved, that’s exactly what they did. To the tune of "Freak Like Me" by Adina Howard, and the taste of double chocolate fudge, the couple spent their supposed "bachelor/bachlorette" parties in each others arms, in each others minds, and testing the stamina of their bed.

The next day, word came from both the Tok'ra and Bra'tac that they'd gotten the message. It was decided to just send out messages requesting a meeting and to deliver the news in person. That way there would be no radio chatter. Daniel was very concerned about the wedding hitting the Galaxy Times.

They were sitting in a briefing the next morning when Thor beamed in, shocking no one, not even Annie, who just worried that she wore the wrong boots.

"Oh my god." Annie stood up, straightening her vinyl corset and smoothing down her plaid skirt.

"Thor! Buddy, glad to see ya, how’s things?" Jack greeted the tiny alien.

"Just great, the day I decide to wear my highest heeled boots." She whispered to Daniel.

"It is good to see you O'Neill. I got your message. May I ask why I was sent for?"

"That would be me." Annie stepped forward.

"I'm Annie White. Daniel and I are getting married and we didn't want to leave you off the list. We're sorry that you had to come here to get your invitation, but we've had trouble with chatter," Annie went over to her bag on the floor, rifled through it, and pulled out Thor’s invitation. "Here." she handed the card to Thor.

"Oh, and that goes for any of your people that you'd like to invite."

"I am honored. I will of course attend. I will beam down at the appointed time." Thor inclined his head. "It was good to see you all. I need to return to my ship."

Annie inclined in return as Thor beamed back up. Annie smiled.

"Not one strange look. That I could tell anyway...." Daniel smiled and reached for her. She slid into the seat next to him. He took her hand and kissed where her ring was.

"General Hammond, I need to ask for permission to talk to the mess about the catering. It's not like I can call it in."

"It's already been taken care of young lady. All the arrangements have been made. The president is sorry he can't make time in his schedule."

"I don't need the president at my wedding. All those Secret Service people cluttering up things, clashing with the 'Gate, it'd be a mess." There were chuckles all around.

Back in Daniels office, Annie sat on the table, and played with a pot. Daniel kept wincing, until Annie picked up the thought and put it down.

   "What's wrong baby?"

"Daniel, I can't do this. Jacob's coming back in two days; Teal'c has about five Jaffa rebel leaders waiting to meet me. Daniel, you're special....to a whole galaxy, and....and I KNOW Jacob thinks I'm ten kinds of nuts, the Jaffa aren't going to know what to make of me. You're important Daniel, and they're going to expect a lot of the woman you're marrying. I don't....I don't....make sense, or measure up."

"What! I mean, really....you are having a moment of supreme delusion here right?" Daniel shot up from his chair, and grabbed her by the back of her neck. "Annie, do you think for one SECOND I give a crap about the galaxies overblown opinion of me? Jack, Sam, Teal'c, General Hammond, Janet, Cassie, THOSE are the people I care about. And the last time I checked, Sam is your maid of honor, Janet is a bridesmaid, and Cassie is the flower girl. You have an Air Force General walking you up the ramp.  Jack and Teal'c have both offered to help with getting you offworld, maybe joining SG-1. Half the base is in love with you. Course the ones who want to get under your skirts worry me a little. Will there be a few people who think I'm making a bad choice. Absolutely. But I haven't cared about any of that since I saw you in that street. You are LIFE Annie. And most importantly, I love you. You have NEVER doubted yourself Annie, don't start now. Don't change one thing about you. Not one little piece of jewelry or one piece of clothing. I know its so cliché', but I love you just the way you are. If others don't see that then that's their problem. NOT ours. When I lost Sha're I didn't think I'd ever feel whole again. And I haven't. It's part of the reason I let Oma take me. But you're here now. And that part of me that was torn from me when she died, you put it back. And then some. You set things on the edge of an explosion. And I've come to crave those. I wanna burn in your fire forever Annie."

"I love it when you ramble baby." Annie sniffled and wrapped her arms around him, and realized he was right. There wasn't one thing that mattered beyond the sound of his hands squeaking on her corset, if he could enjoy the feel of the tight vinyl, then nothing else mattered. Nothing at all.

Jacob Carter arrived with two other Tok'ra three days later. Fortified by Daniels words, Annie hadn't changed a thing about herself. Not from her pigtails to her fishnets. When the three ambassadors arrived, Annie stood there beside Sam and Jack with a lollipop in her mouth.

"Danny’s not gonna be happy Brat. You know he hates it when you suck on those things all day." Annie shrugged.

"He doesn't like it when I blow the speakers out at the house either, but it doesn’t stop me from rockin out Jack, hee hee." She laughed wickedly. Jack shook his head.

   "Such a brat."

"But you looooove me." She sang.

Jack just laughed. Yes...yes he did.

Jacob reached the end of the ramp and hugged Sam.

   "Hey kiddo, how are ya?"

"I'm fine Dad." Sam hugged her father, and then let him shake hands with Jack. When got to Annie he just smiled weakly and gave her his usual look of fatherly disapproval. They gathered in the safety of the briefing room.

"So what's the fire kids?" Annie handed Jacob an envelope. The Tok'ra opened it, and Annie watched with some amusement as his eyes widened.

"Danny’s getting married......to her?" Annie just put the pop back in her mouth. She looked off to the side.

   "Be nice Dad."

"You're right, I'm sorry. What's....ahh...what's this?" He pointed at the gift package that had been put together for the invitations.

"It's naquada dust, representative rings, and ribbons. Usually, there was only one in each package, but there's one for Selmak in there too. That's why the ribbons are striped. The blue is for you as a general and the yellow for Selmak as a friend. We didn't want to leave anyone out."

"Correction....ANNIE didn't want anyone left out. She made those. I've been very busy with a backlog of work. I'm not afraid to admit that she's taken care of a lot of the details." Daniel came in through the hallway door to stand next to Annie, a little behind her, wrapping one arm around her waist. He couldn't leave her to face the music alone. She was certainly strong enough, but this was his wedding too, and she was doing enough work. There was no need for her to be a spectacle if he wasn’t there to be one right along there with her.

*She's so thoughtful. You should know better as to not judge Jacob. So she's got a few...what do they call them...tattoos? May I remind you that you have a symbiote inside you?*

*Sel, she's not good enough for him*

*Jacob, do not let yourself become overwhelmed by the arrogance surrounding you with the rest of us. She is one of the nicest, most thoughtful Tau’ri I know.*

Jacobs head dropped, and Selmak’s voice drifted into the room.

"Greetings. You'll have to excuse the strict opinions of my host. I believe it has to do with too many years in Earths military. I am most honored by your inclusion of me in your invitation and I will be honored to attend."

"Thank you Selmak. I hope to have the chance to talk with you more soon."

"Anytime child. And I must thank you for my inclusion in your invitation. Such thoughtfulness."

"You're welcome." Annie smiled, and Jacob retook control. Annie smiled and stuck her lollipop in her mouth.

"Annie...." Daniel said in a warning tone. Annie laughed, taking her pop out of her mouth and waving it at Daniel, before handing it over.

  "What?" She blinked her eyes.

"Gimme the other one." Annie took another pop out from behind her back and stuck it in her mouth, then backed out of the room.

"Annie!" Daniel cried and went after her, her tinkling giggles could be heard as she skipped down the hall. Daniel shook his head, laughed, got a wicked look in his eye, and gave chase. The last thing that was heard down the hallway was a delighted yelp.

"What was that about?" Jacob asked as he watched the serious archaeologist he'd known for six years chase after that goth doll and abandon his shy demeanor to play her game.

"It's the lollipops. He doesn't like her to eat too much sugar, and she doesn't listen well. I think it's cute." Sam laughed.

"I swear Samantha, if the next word I get is about you running off to Vegas with some motorcycle gang member, I'm gonna pull rank." Jacob warned.

  "Yes General."

"Now, why did I have to come HERE for that? You could've just sent word."

"We've had problems with chatter General, and Daniel is really uncomfortable with anyone knowing about this over waves that could be picked up by the Goa'uld." Jack explained.

"I'm surprised he's getting married at all. I thought he was going to stay a bachelor for life after that nasty business with his wife." Jacob shook his head.

"We all thought so too general. But Annie, she's brought life back into Daniels eyes. He told me it was like getting into a hot tub from the cold snow outside."

"She's that good for him huh?" Jacob asked.

"Is that THAT hard to believe Dad?"

"Quite frankly Sam, yeah. I mean, she's funny and sweet, but she's reckless, strange, and there's kind of a little bit of white trash around the edges."

"Jacob." Hammond said, opening his office door to join them.

"Her father is a well respected Colonel, Jake. Ever heard of St. John White?" Jack asked.

"St. John was killed. They said he was a traitor, but it was hard to believe. He struck me as a good man when I met him. Showing off pictures of his wife and his two year old daughter....Annabella."

"Annabella....is now Annie. She saved this base a week ago Jacob. She used her power to create a link between her and Daniel to save his mind from nightmares and distress at great cost to herself. When a person does as much as they can do Jacob, should it really matter what they look like.....or should we ask the snake?" Jack said, leaning on the table.

"I should apologize. Do you know where they are?"

"Probably in his office, arguing over a lollipop, or making out, or working together on a project, who knows, with them, anything's possible."

As it turned out, they were working on a project. SG-11 had brought back some interesting broken pots and with no writing for reference on any wall, Daniel had no recourse than to hand them over to Annie. She closed her eyes and laid her fingers on both pieces.

"Horses, they raised horses. A family, one son, one daughter. There was a village where the walls where, "Annie gasped, "Goa'uld. Not...Anubis. Apophis. And...." Annie’s eyes flipped open and she dropped the pieces onto the table.

"What's the matter Annie? What did you see?" Annie turned away.

"Annie, don't protect me....I know what happened to my wife, who she became."

"She was angry because she thought the mother was better looking than she was. She killed her out of spite, and they razed the village. No one was left but the son and daughter. They took them both. For....hosts. Ammonet wanted to see if the girl would be as beautiful when she grew up. If she was, she planned to switch hosts. Apophis did the same with the son. It was an...experiment. I don't know what happened to them. They made the children watch as they burned the village. Ammonet's eyes....so cold....so.....cruel. She actually smiled...SMILED....as the children screamed in pain and grief."

Daniel looked down. Sure he knew that Sha're had become the instrument of the Goa'ulds terror, but never had he heard a description of her cruelty. Annie looked guilty and looked carefully at him.  Daniel knew he had to approach this with care. If he showed too much grief, Annie would assume he wasn't over Sha're. He was, and he loved Annie. He'd made peace with the fact that he was taking a new wife. Sha're wasn't cruel and she would want him to be happy. And for some reason, although the cultural differences would take a long time to overcome, he thought Sha're and Annie would like each other.

"Are you alright?" Annie asked, touching his neck.

 "No.....but I will be."

They shared a hug, and when Jacob came to the door, he saw the love between the strange girl and the archaeologist. It was as if opposite ends of the universe had folded itself together. He cleared his throat, and Annie looked over,

"Jacob...Selmak" Annie greeted them equally as always.

"Look kid, I tend to come off like a hardass, but if you and Danny are happy, that’s all that counts." A huge smile came over Annie’s face. She walked over and hugged Jacob. Shocked, Jacob hugged her back. She stepped back and popped the lollipop back in her mouth. All pigtails and lightning, Jacob finally saw Annie. Beyond the short skirts and braids.

"Well, it looks like you two kids are busy; I'll see you at the wedding." Annie nodded.

Jacob left, leaving Daniel to stare in her direction.

"Is there anyone you can't charm?" Annie tilted her head and smirked, pulling the much bemoaned pop out of her mouth. She locked his door and walked over to him. Smiling a wicked smile unique to her gothic kind, Annie got on her knees in front of him. She put the lollipop in his mouth and the sugary rush burst into his mind.

"What are you.....hey....Annie.....OH!" Daniels eyes rolled in the back of his head. He was reaching down to her head and a word popped into his mind. 'Handlebars' Annie’s wicked voice drifted into his head. When he realized through the fog what she meant, it was so deviant, so unbelievably pornographic, he gasped. Jesus, he looked down. He whimpered his base nature and reserved morality fighting the battle for control.  Between the sugary rush he was sharing and the pleasure rush, she had forced twin forms of ecstasy through the link. God. Oh GOD. When he realized she was pleasuring herself, he snapped, and his cry of freedom was louder than he meant it to be. Annie smirked inwardly. Score.

The next day, Annie put the finishing touches on her wedding gown. Sam and Janet had helped her get her plans out. She had always wanted to design her own wedding gown. This was her masterpiece. It was a black, which surprised no one. It was a tight leather corset, laced down the back so the sides parted some, revealing the skin underneath. The rest was a voluminous ball skirt. It spread from the bottom of the corset to a huge amount of fabric. Over twenty layers pushed the skirt out to nearly a foot on either side of Annie. The overskirt was a gossamer fabric studded with thousands of blue crystals. The fabric in the back trained out nearly two feet. There were separate arm sleeves, tight leather on the top, and flowing out poet style at the elbow about three inches, with the same fabric as the overskirt. She would wear her hair in a configuration of curls and braids, as they had in Elizabethan times, and braided through with blue ribbons and with a chain hanging on her forehead, a pattern of roses made of crystals and sapphire colored gems. The whole thing was going to cost a lot of money, but General Hammond had seen to it, and when the finished product had been shown to him, he'd whistled, saying Annie was a woman of many talents.

The day before the wedding was the day she would meet with the rebel Jaffa. Bra'tac, R'yac, and three others arrived. They had gathered in the briefing room.

"Master Bra'tac." Teal'c stood beside her. She was nervous again, but Teal'c had assured her that no Jaffa would speak ill of her. After greetings were passed around, Teal'c turned to her.

"This is AnnieWhite, DanielJackson's soon to be mate."

"DanielJackson is to be married?" Bra'tac asked. Teal'c inclined his head in answer.

"That’s why you've been gathered. We couldn't risk messages of the wedding to the galaxy, we simply have too many enemies, so we had to ask you all here and tell you in person. Ummm....here." Annie handed her invitations to Bra'tac and R'yac. They were personalized with purple ribbons for valor.

"You have honored us with this invitation. We will of course attend. You are different from the Tau’ri I have seen. Are you from a different province?"

"Much different." Annie answered; glad she was able to provide a decent one.

Daniel, Jack, and Sam arrived soon after and a small meeting was held. Annie hung back and drank a Red Bull. Three for three.

That night they were forced by the 'family' to sleep in separate rooms, saying it was bad luck to see the bride before the wedding. The day would bring all 'Gate action to a halt, the iris would stay closed, and the base was on stand down.

Annie had one more visitor that night. A knock sounded and she answered in her flannel pants and tank top. It was Dr. Catherine Langford. Annie gasped.

"Oh my GOD, I wasn't expecting you, please excuse my state of dress."

"It's alright dear. I just got in. I wanted to see the woman my Daniel is marrying."

"Well, I'm Annie. But...you already know that." Annie fidgeted.

"Don't be nervous, I was told you were....different. Although I like to use the word unique." Catherine laughed, her easy demeanor soothing Annie’s nerves.

"I just want to say thank you for believing in Daniel. I was only 18 when he was lecturing around, and we didn't get his papers, so I had no idea he was even out there. But if I had Dr. Langford....I would've believed him. So would a lot of my friends."

  "Please...call me Catherine." Annie smiled.

They talked about a lot for hours, until the clock hit midnight. Catherine left, told her she would be proud to call Annie daughter, and patted her cheek.

Chapter 17 - Part 2: Uniting the Souls

The day of her wedding dawned bright and clear. Last minute visitors arrived in droves. The gate room was going to be packed. The ramp had been removed, and a blue carpet ran from the base of the 'Gate to the left and right blast doors. An arbor was set up. It crawled with white ivy. There were rows and rows of chairs on either side of the carpet, and standing room in the back. More than three hundred people packed their way into the gate room at 4 PM. The wanted to have the ceremony at 4:30, as the sun was setting and stars were coming out.

Two different rooms were filled with two nervous people.

In the VIP room deemed the "Groom Suite" had Daniel, Jack, Teal'c, Bra'tac, and Jacob carter, who had donned a suit for the human event. Even Selmak was excited.

*I have never attended a wedding before*

*Sel, you've never been on Earth long enough to see one.*

*It is a bright day for Daniel and Annie, however, he seems nervous*

*All grooms get nervous. I assure you, Annie isn't doing any better*

  *Strange*

*Not really. I was shaking when I married Sam’s mother.*

*Tying ones life to another is so natural to us, I hadn't thought to how it would be for humans. Perhaps their short lives meant they must be sure. Although from what I understand, the....divorce....rate is high. So the blendings must not always work.*

  *Sel, you have no idea*

As it turned out, Jacob was right. Annie was nervous in the "Bridal Suite". Sam, Janet, Catherine, and Cassie were all there and dressing. Sam and Janet in dress blues and Cassie in a pretty black, long sleeved gown with an empire waist. A blue crystal necklace and earrings, her red hair in a pretty chignon.

Annie dressed. She first fixed her hair, which a hairdresser had done on the surface that morning. A massively complex configuration of braids, curls, with long ribbons coming out the bottom and trailing down her back halfway. Her chain veil attached. She'd borrowed Sam’s blue sapphire dangly earrings. The barrowed part. The shoes were vintage Channel, simple silver high heeled sandals. The old part. She had gotten herself new lingerie. She first hooked on the dark blue lace garter belt, with new black seam stockings, and hooked them to the garter, which had tiny blue bows and skulls in the middle. She then pulled up a light blue thong. Blue part covered. She had all parts covered. She pulled on the massive ball gown, fluffing out the skirts. She then got into the corset, Sam pulling the laces tight for her. The bottom covered the top of the skirt, making it look like one piece. She pulled on her sleeves. Then she sat to do her makeup. She lined her eyes thick, and then blended in different shades of blue and glitter. She applied silver shaded lipstick. She'd taken out her eyebrow rings, but left her lip ring for the kiss. It turned Daniel on. She'd replaced her nose ring with a sapphire stud. She the matching necklace to her veil, and turned. She spread glitter on her chest and breasts, which were heaving out of the corset.

"My GOD Annie, you look like a gothic fairy princess." Janet said excitedly.

"The best Goa'uld couldn't have done better." Sam agreed smugly.

Daniel and the men we're also dressed. Daniel had gotten the best black Armani suit. A dark blue silk shirt and black tie completed his outfit. His shoes shined. He walked back and forth across the rug.

"Ya know, not knowing I was getting married was a lot easier." Daniel said.

"C'mon. This time you get to wear a monkey suit and look ridiculous in pictures." Jack quipped.

  "Yes, thank you, very helpful."

"Do you not wish to marry AnnieWhite?" Teal'c asked.

  "Of course I do."

"Then the decision has been made, and the warriors in you will join. It is unnecessary to feel anything else but pride."

  "Okay.....let's do this."

The procession began in the full gate room. Tok'ra, Jaffa, military dignitaries, Thor had beamed in in his chair. There were guards at every checkpoint. The Secretary of Defense had shown up to represent the president. As far as galactic weddings go, this one was all-star. The resident Justice of the Peace was waiting in the arbor. The music began.

First Jack and Sam came in on either side, walking military style to the sides of the arbor. They smiled at each other. Jack patted his pocket. Yep, both naqada rings were there. They bore the address for Earth on the inside, along with the name of its owner.

Teal'c and Janet walked down next. Teal'c wore a black suit with a black sweater. They took their places next to Jack and Sam, and the two women saluted Jack. He returned the salute.

Daniel walked up to the arbor with strong, determined steps. He had decided not to wear his glasses, so the blue of his eyes flared in the soft light. They had lowered them to a bright but soft lighting. The 'Gate had been backlit. Daniel took his place, putting his hands together and down, ducking and blushing at all the attention.

Cassie came next, sprinkling white rose petals on the carpet out of a basket. She reached her place next to Janet and her mother smiled at her. Janet couldn't help but think about her daughters own wedding day.

General Hammond stood to the side, waiting for Annie.

  The left blast door opened.

Time stopped. Daniel was struck dumb. He quickly fished his glasses out. He looked down at the end of the ramp. Annie. HIS Annie. A goddess. Good GOD she was beautiful. Everyone in attendance gasped. Here was this usually strange looking woman, now a vision in blue and black. Everyone knew she'd added the blue for Daniels eyes. She walked down the aisle like she owned it. Glittering and sparkling, sexy and glamorous, holding one single white rose.

  "Holy shit.." Daniel whispered.

"Now THAT is a goddess." Jack added. He'd never seen a display like this in his whole life.

Annie got to the end of the aisle, and General Hammond took her arm.

"You are a vision young lady."

"Thank you." The General, in full dress, led Annie to the arbor.

Annie locked eyes with Daniel. Blue met green in a display of love. He looked her up and down. For that moment, it seemed like there was no one in the whole galaxy but them. She stepped up to grasp hands with him, and he mouthed 'I love you baby'.  Annie’s eyes stung.

The Justice of the Peace began.

"We are gathered here today to witness the joining of Annabella Claire White and Dr. Daniel Jackson. Who gives this woman to be wed?"

  "I do" Hammond responded.

"I believe the bride and groom have written their own vows?" The Justice continued.

  "We have."

Daniel turned to Annie, his speech memorized.

"Annie, on the night we met, I didn't know what to make of you, but I knew I could trust you enough to help you. And I have never been happier with a reckless move in my life. I have come to love you, come to rely on your.....unique ways. Your wit and humor astounds me. People say that you're the lucky one, but I disagree. I think I'm the one who's lucky. I get to see your style, hear your laughter, make love to you, and have a future with you. I once thought I was dead inside. That I could live but never really live completely. You're a fierce storm that holds the soul of my happiness. I love you Annie, and I hope that I'll never let you feel like 'Coma' again."

Annie was crying. She started her speech.

"Daniel, the first time I saw you, I thought, "Here we go, another square on my ass". But you took a chance and took me in. At first I thought I'd just play with you a little, open you up, but somewhere along the line, you got into my heart and into the link that only my mind once shared. Together, we're strong and hot, and a seemingly endless game of happiness, where we both win, and we both enjoy it. You feel solid to me. The earth my lightning reaches. Where my storm comes to port. I love you, and I hope my heat keeps you warm forever."

Now they were both tearing up.

  "The rings." the Justice said.

Jack took them out. He handed them to their other sides.

"Daniel, put the ring on Annabella’s hand and repeat after me. 'With this ring, I thee wed.'"

Daniel slid the ring on right next to her engagement ring, "With this ring, I thee wed."

"Annabella, put the ring on Daniel and repeat after me. 'With this ring, I wed."

Annie slid the ring on Daniel, "With this ring, I thee wed."

"By the power invested in me by the state of Colorado and the United States Air Force, I now pronounce you man and wife. What has been forged this day let no man tear asunder."

"You may kiss the bride." The Justice finished.

Daniel pulled Annie close by the back of the neck and pushed his lips against hers. The metal cut into his lip and melted him, her tongue ring caressing his and her breasts pushing against his chest made him weak. Annie tasted coffee and life and wound her hands in his hair, while he wrapped his around her back. They both moaned, until Jack coughed.

"Save a little somethin for tonight Danny." He muttered out of the side of his smile.

They broke their kiss, and turned to face the crowd.

"I present to you, Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Jackson." The Justice announced.

The sound of the applause and the congratulatory whoops was deafening. The joy in Annie’s telepathic mind was overwhelming. She sniffled. Jack handed her a tissue. They walked down the aisle, turning to look at the 'Gate.

"Thank you." Annie whispered at the Ancient device. Then the handshakes and kisses and hugs began.

The family gathered. Pictures were taken, including a private one for the secret archives of the couple with the 'Gate. It would never decorate anyone’s wallet, but they couldn't conceive of honoring their wedding without honoring the very thing that had brought them together. However indirectly.

<In an unknown realm, in an unseen place, a white light stood with another and they watched, as always, watching.

"Oma, I knew you couldn't resist." Shifu joined his "mother" and Daniels old mentor, with her pristine white clothes and wise eyes.

"I knew I had to do something, or I wouldn't be able to save him from the darkness taking him under yet again. She blazes with life, it was a fortunate moment."

"It was you who turned on that streetlight." Shifu smiled.

"Light is made up of many things." Shifu nodded.

"His journey will not be easy."

"For now, we will take comfort in the fact that the light inside this woman brightens his world."

They floated away, Oma looking back. Now they would see if that light could keep the candle burning.>

 Chapter 17 - Part 3: The Reception

Daniel and Annie left the hall. They were changing for the reception. Finally. She had her husband alone. Closing the door to the VIP room she watching as Daniel took off his tie. Annie reached behind her to undo the skirt. She hung the massive confection on its mannequin, and then came up behind Daniel.

"My husband." Daniel cringed. The last woman to say that had died. He clamped down on that panic. Nothing was going to happen to Annie. He looked at the ring on his finger. A husband once again. He felt her hands sliding over his sides. Turned.

"Annie.....oh...my.....shit.....Annie..." Daniel took in her extremely seductive look. The leather corset, the seamed stockings, the garters and the light blue thong. She crawled onto the bed. Rolled onto her back, rose one long leg into the air and ran her hands down the silk.

  "Annie....th...they're waiting."

"Don't care...wanna fuck....fuck my husband." Annie pressed her fingers down on her crotch, moaning.

"Aww hell Annie...." Daniel took off his silk shirt, and climbed on top of Annie. She was his wife. They really should be waiting for tonight. He'd pleaded with Hammond to let them go offworld for the honeymoon. They were going to PJN-613. It was uninhabited, but had beautiful meadows next to waterfalls and canopies of willow trees. Flowers bloomed everywhere. It was paradise.

Right now, however, Annie was squirming underneath him. He buried his face in her cleavage. God, he was so turned on. Rush from the wedding, people everywhere laughing and euphoric happiness. His head was spinning. He was rocking back and forth in the cradle of her hips.

"FUCK!" He shouted. Both at Annie for her teasing, and at himself for falling for it.

"Sounds like a plan." Daniel looked into her sultry green eyes, shaded to make her even MORE irresistible. Annie reached down and popped the two silver catches holding her thong together. Daniel watched as her bare womanhood was exposed. He ran his hands down her legs, the silk of the hose turning him on more and more.

"Oh god Annie. Annie Jackson. Fuck that sounds good." At this point, Annie had turned her mind on him. Used her heat to raise his. She wanted to mate with her new husband and that was that.

"Fuck me Daniel." Annie whispered in his ear. Then she did two things simultaneously that sealed the deal. She latched onto his neck with her metal tongue ring scraping the flesh. Then she ran her fingers down his side, and pressed her fingers hard into his scar. The sensitive skin burned, and with a loud, sobbing cry, Daniel broke. Snapped. He tore open his pants, long fingers undoing them quickly. She watched as he dragged them down and kicked them off, pulled the thong out from under her, and drove himself into her dripping wet body.

Tight heat. Fire. The lightning in her mind struck the already searing mind of her husband, and he screamed. Annie didn't even care. She snapped her hips up to meet his. Cried out herself. Daniels eyes were fully dilated. They were mating at this point. Beyond human capabilities. The light built and built. Energy making every nerve yell out. He was kissing her, the lip ring setting him off again. He felt her around him, felt himself inside her. Stimulating her womb. Daniel couldn't take it.

  "Annie....please....I'm...I'm....." He begged.

"More." Annie said in a smoky voice.

He sobbed in pleasured pain as his mind began to go to the breaking point. They were fully merged, one being, sharing the same almost painful bliss. Then everything went white, black, and then both. Daniel yelled when it hit him, and Annie screamed. Shuddering, sobbing, their minds reluctantly receded. They collapsed. Tears on both sides. Green and blue met each other in a look of love and completion. Daniel only wished he didn't have to move.

  "Annie.....oh....wow....that was....

"Really good. I know." Annie finished.

What they didn't know was that setting up for the reception was just about finished, so Jack had been dispatched to see what was keeping the newlyweds. He'd arrived just in time to hear them loudly announcing how happy they were. REALLY happy. He laughed out loud and went back to the gate room, where Sam came up to him.

  "Well Sir?"

  "Carter, they just got married."

"They wouldn't! Sir, they can't do that now!" Jack laughed.

"Right....wanna go tell 'em?" Sam blushed.

  "No....no...I'll just wait."

Jack laughed again. He was laughing a lot lately. As his mom would say, that girl is a firecracker.

Daniel and Annie had gone about the task of getting redressed. Daniel put on a light blue button down and his suit jacket. Annie slipped on a pair of tight leather pants that matched the leather of her corset. She pulled the legs down over a pair of stiletto heeled Jimmy Choo boots. She hooked a chain belt on, and pulled her hair free; replacing them into two ponytails, then wrapped a tiny piece of twirled hair around them at the base. She replaced her black lipstick, and then pulled on a pair of arm high length leather gloves with the fingers cut off, and weighed one hand down with silver bangles. Wiping off the glitter and some of the blue eye shadow, pushing in a pair of silver hoops, and a leather band around her neck.

"Wow Annie. You pull out all the stops."

"I have to darling. I'm Dr. Jackson’s wife now."

  "You're still you."

"I know that, or did you miss the piercings?" She licked her black lips and they made their way back to the gate room.

Their entrance surprised no one. Not that they were late nor that Annie had chosen to wear neck to toe black leather. Not her black nails, nor the added height from her heels.

"If it were not for her delicate skin, I could swear she were Jaffa." Bra'tac commented.

"Do not let her pale complexion fool you Master Bra'tac, AnnieJackson is a formidable warrior. She is like the Hak'tar. Gifted in the mind. She can sense the thoughts of others, or the thoughts of people who put their hands to an object, no matter the time it has been since it was touched." Teal'c explained.

"She has earned your respect Teal'c?"

  "Indeed."

  Bra'tac nodded.

"Then she shall be as family."

"She has expressed interest in helping the rebel Jaffa."

"She has offered her help freely?" Teal'c bowed.

"She can sense the thoughts of the Gao'uld."

Bra'tac nodded, holding the staff weapon he'd brought for Daniel. When the couple approached them, Annie bowed.

"Master Bra'tac, R'yac. It's so nice to see you." Annie smiled with her arms around Daniel's waist.

"Indeed. We have a tradition on Chulak. When a couple marries, they are to be given weapons to protect their home and children."

Bra'tac nodded, and R'yac handed the staff weapon to Daniel, and Teal'c offered to Annie a new knife with a strap to hold it to the thigh. It was a beautiful black handled double bladed weapon. She held her arm out.

"I am honored to receive these gifts from you and your brothers. I can only hope to honor you as well." Annie spoke to them in their ways, in their language. She showed them respect due them and never backed down from her place in her own confidence.

  "From where do you hail?"

  "Ahhh....Brooklyn I suppose. It's where I was born." She answered Bra'tac.

"It is good to know you Annie of Brooklyn." Annie had to bite back a smile. Oh yeah, Brooklyn is SUCH a great place. Let's hope no one asks to go visit.

"We have to take our leave now. So many people....and others...that want to speak with us." She bowed and she and Daniel left, a gentle archaeologist and his strange mate.

Throughout the evening, Daniel and Annie were received and congratulated everywhere, given gifts; some Annie had to ask what they were. Thor’s gift was a strange box, with a glowing ball inside.

"I'm sorry, but I have to ask what this is." Annie frowned.

"No need to apologize, I am sure you have never seen one before. It is a ball of calm. It soothes by touching it. It is made from a mineral native to Orilla."

"Oh THANK you!" Annie replied, hugging the tiny alien carefully.

"Ooops, sorry, I hope I didn't hurt you."

  "I am not harmed."

After Thor beamed back to his ship, thanking the couple again for their nice card, Annie smiling.

  "You've been quiet." Annie speculated.

"Well, I thought I'd let you get to know them. You've made a lot of friends tonight Annie. Honoring Jaffa, charming Thor and hob knobbing with the military. You look like you're holding your own baby."

  "I do what I can."

And she did. For the rest of the night, Annie held court. They exchanged conversations with many different people and continued to show her unique outlook. When one the airmen asked about one of her tattoos, she said she'd gotten it done years ago, running her fingers along the tribal marks scrolling across her collarbones. It was a small part of the masterpiece that was Annie’s body. Daniel oughta know, he'd pretty much studied them all and had intimate knowledge of all of them, their locations, and meanings. When Annie told him she used to do tattoos, he asked her if maybe she could do one for him. She said sure, but not to talk too much about it. Turning one of the storage rooms into a tattoo parlor would probably not go over very well with the brass. At one point, Janet excused herself to take Cassie home. Although crushed by her loss of Daniel, Cassie was happy that Daniel was finally happy. TRULY happy. And she liked Annie. Kissing them both, Janet wished them luck and went home, thinking that as weddings go, this one was one for the record books. Even IF those books had to be classified.

"Do you miss it?" Daniel asked.

   "What?" Annie replied.

   "Coma."

"Well, there are times when I miss the friends and recognition I got. But, it's not like I don't get the same now. It's just for different things. More important things. And it's not like I don't love how I spend my nights." Annie laughed at Daniels usual blush.

The usual traditions were performed. The cake, the garter belt, and the flower toss, which was just dumb, because Annie only had one rose. But when she threw it, it went off the mark and landed on Jacks head, bouncing off and hitting the floor. Annie turned around, and laughed uproariously. Jack looked at the rose, picked it up, and stuck it in his lapel.

"I'm gonna get married!" He said in this mock excited woman voice.

This time a lot of people laughed. The night wore on, until Daniel announced last dance.

"Okay people. This song is one that’s special to us, because we danced our first dance to it. A lot of you won't understand, but let's just say its tradition."

Soon, the mourning sound of Marilyn Manson came through the speakers. The last voice ever thought to be heard inside a military base, the deep lyrics of Annie’s former life floated through. Daniel took Annie out to the middle of the gate room, and with Annie’s head on his shoulder, listened once again to the words of one Brian Warner. The grinding metal tones permeated the room, shocking many.

"Coma White", last on the album Mechanical Animals, was the story of a lost, lonely girl who took drugs to drown out the sound of her own anguished life. The CD, bearing the outlandish rock star, with breasts, playing an alien. Daniel had laughed. He wondered if the brass would give Manson clearance to see the 'Gate. Annie had burst into laughter, and just to see if it could be done, put the requisitions in. They were still waiting on the response.

Annie let her head fall back. This song had touched her for the entire five years it had existed. Sure, he could be a total prick, but Manson had his moments. This was one of them.

Eventually, the party dispersed. The 'Gate was finally opened to allow people back to their respective home planets. At last, their luggage was brought in on a FRED, and the couple prepared to leave for their honeymoon. Jack, Sam, Teal'c, Hammond, and Jacob Carter all waved as Daniel and Annie made their way up the ramp to their home for the next four days.

The 'Gate powered up. A MALP and a UAV had been used that morning to assure the conditions of the planet had not changed and there was no activity in the skies. Hugs were passed around, and Annie promised to let Daniel sleep. Sometimes.

"See you all soon." Were Annie's last words as she walked up the reinstalled ramp. Her heels clicked on the grate.

"This...is goin down in the record books." Annie said, and walked right through the 'Gate. She kept her eyes open through the ride. She wanted to remember this ride forever.

Landing on the other side of the 'Gate Annie only had one thing to say.

"WHOA....let's do that again!" The thrill had excited Annie. It reminded Daniel of his first time, Except Annie was free of the fear.

Stepping down the stone dais, Annie looked around at her honeymoon location.

    "Oh baby....let's make babies!"

Daniel groaned. He wasn't going to have a muscle that didn't hurt or a mind that wasn't fried by the time they got back.
