Chapter 17: Addictive "He breaks, me down, he builds, me up
The night settled in their paradise. They'd set up camp in a meadow.
There was a small lake with a waterfall, the water clear and bright blue. The
breeze behind them came from a huge thatch of white colored willow trees. It
was warm and sunny and completely isolated. There was their huge tent, with a
mosquito net porch of sorts. They set up sleeping bags, which was silly Annie pointed
out, seeing as how they weren't going to be sleeping much. Daniel begged for
mercy. She shook her head.
"No mercy husband." "C'mon Annie. I'm an old man." Annie snorted.
"You ain't dead.....anymore."
"You're going to kill me."
"You're the one with the staff weapon." Annie laughed.
"Funny."
"Wasn't it?" Annie looked back at her husband and did the
first thing that came to her mind. She stripped. Daniel looked at her with the
heat he always did. She undid her hair so it was just a long black trail down
her back. Then she ran for the water. She waded in and then dived, swimming
until she reached the waterfall. Her makeup washed off quickly, and she tipped
her head back. A naked sea nymph. Daniel swallowed.
She put her arms out and let the water drip down into her palms and all over
her body. God, she was beautiful. And, as the water and sun glinted off her
wedding rings, he realized, his for life.
"If you can't beat 'em, join em." Daniel laughed, stripped
naked as Adam in the garden, and jumped into the pond. He came up behind her.
She leaned back.
"Mmmmm.....can you FEEL this? No Gao'uld, no
"Annie....." He gasped as he felt a probe into his mind. She
was looking for evidence of his memories of Sha're.
She dug hard, using their link as the enabler to scan his mind. He winced, and
then cringed. It hurt. She was hurting him. He whined.
"Annie.....stop...you're hurting me.
Please."
Annie turned on him and backed him into a sitting position on the small
indentation beyond the waterfall. He looked into his Annie’s eyes. She was
jealous of Sha're and the space she took up in Daniels mind, and she was
digging, probing into every part of his mind to get to the memories. Daniel
looked at her. Her green eyes determined and slightly glazed. He tried to slam
his mind shut, but she was the one with the active power. Then a cascade of
painful memories of Sha're assaulted his conscious mind. He knew what she was
doing. She HAD to know. 'So
long.....you searched and loved for so long'
"Annie STOP! Please! I don't know what I can say to make you
believe I'm not still in love with her. There’s nothing to be jealous of Annie.
Please stop this. You're scaring me." Annie dropped the link. She turned, ashamed of
what she'd done. But she knew. She'd heard the stories repeatedly during their
reception.
"I'm always going to be the second wife, ain’t I?" "No....Annie.....no. I love you baby. Yes, I loved her
very much, but she's gone and you're not a replacement. PLEASE, you have to
believe me."
"It's the tragic love story. I've heard about almost nothing else
since we got engaged. The years long search and awful death. What a tale."
Annie’s eyes stung.
"And ours isn't a tale too? People talk just as much about us as
they do Sha're. I'm sorry that that story has reached such epic proportions,
but Annie.....someday, ours will too."
"I've never been insecure before Daniel, but you bring with you a lot
of situations. I have to be the great Dr. Jackson’s wife, the second wife to
the Shakespearean tale, I love you, but I can't be anymore then who I am,
piercings and all, and I can't be someone you're thinking of as settling
because your perfect choice was murdered."
"Annie, listen to me. Sha're is gone. I'll
always love her, but that doesn't mean that she's stuck there like some record
on skip. Yes, I'm important, but so are you. I'M the one who's honored Annie.
Out of all the free, crazy men that live that life beside you, you chose me AND
my work. Soon, you'll be with me on missions, and I'll show you how to drive
Jack crazy by taking forever. I can't make the story go away, but I can make a
new one. I love you and soon, people will accept that. And if they don't, well,
who the hell cares? Don't let this bog you down. Fly free, I love to watch you
fly."
"Do you really mean that?"
"Look inside me Annie, am I lying?" Annie brushed his mind
gently, like a caress. It made him shiver. He was absolutely sure of his
convictions, and meant every word. She shook her head, as if to clear it.
"I'm sorry Daniel, I guess I let the atmosphere we we're in to screw
with my head."
"Hey, I've got insecurities of my own." Daniel replied. Annie
laughed.
"What? Why?"
"You're young, and free, and I have trouble keeping up with
you."
"Oh, I don't think that's true at all. You listen to every word,
try to understand my music, my life, my tattoos, every part of who I am, you
study it, and when you're looking at me, as if trying to figure out something
that's eluding you about me, I feel it in my mind. Your
natural curiosity. And you can't tell me you can't keep up with me in
the bedroom. Yeah, I put you through your paces, but you always.....always make
me shatter. Sex with you is incredible. In fact, let's do it right now. Prove
it to me. Show me. The body never lies."
"Okay...let’s go to the tent."
"No...here. Under the
waterfall." Daniel frowned. "Where?" Annie looked around until she found a
big, flat boulder. She pointed.
"There." It was just close enough to the water to feel the
spray, and Daniel smirked. Okay, she wanted proof. He'd give it to her.
Daniel grabbed his new wife by the waist and laid her out on the rock.
"Baby, I...."
"Uh uhhh....you wanted proof....fine. This gets done my way. Put
your arms above your head. And stay out of my head." He shook his finger.
She narrowed her eyes. She stretched her arms over head, making her breasts and
her ribcage rise, making her belly and hips vulnerable.
"Ooohhhh...I rather like you like this Mrs. Jackson."
"Oh, say that again." Annie was wet. Daniel laid himself on top
of her. This slow thing wasn't going to last. But he was going to try. He
kissed her neck, licking her favorite spots.
"Mrs. Jackson...." He whispered. He knew she didn't mean to,
but her mind fluttered, and he gasped. He worked his way down her body,
grabbing her breasts, which were decorated with multicolored stars. The ornate
sword on fire between them was pretty and represented strength. She'd designed
all her tattoos herself. God, he was so lucky. And she thought she had to
measure up. Bullshit. He
moaned at the taste of her. Her nipples hardened. He ran his hands down her
sides to flutter fingers on the inside of her hips.
"Daniel...." "Mmmmm?" He asked, lips around one nipple. Licking her and then using
his fingers to rub her clit. His fingers long and conditioned
from so many digs. "Oh,
god, you have such nice fingers."
"Do I?" He teased. He slid two inside her. Pumped.
Found her soaked and ready. His mouth licked a trail down her body to her bare
mound. She shaved. God, that was so sexy. He let his tongue do the talking as
he told her he loved her with his lips, tongue and mouth on her in about 20
different languages. He ran his fingers up to rest his hand over her heart.
'Touch me' He told her in her mind. She barely caught it as she was
caught up in waves of pleasure. Annie reached down to put her hands on his
head, her fingers through wet brown hair. She kept him there until he had
brought her to the brink. She stiffened, and he treated her to one last broad
lick. She exploded. He felt her walls pulse around his finger. He kept rubbing
her on the inside until she had stopped.
"DANIEL!" He slid up her body, and Annie licked her own taste
from his mouth. She then kissed all over his throat sucking and her hands went
down his body.
"Touch me Annie. Touch me, but I can't wait." Annie could feel
him throbbing quite insistently at her entrance. She spread her legs, and
Daniel drove into his new wife. His wife. Oh god, she
was his wife. That feeling of completion, so long gone, wrenched back into
place. The flow of energy. She grabbed his ass and
pulled him in.
"Awwww,
Annie, I'd meant this to last..." Daniel groaned, but his
body was making demands. She smirked and opened up their link. He was done for.
He went faster. "Daniel...oh GOD Daniel....more...gimme more....my mate.
Oh yeah....FUCK baby!" Annie arched hard.
Daniel felt something strange. She ran her fingers over his scar, but
they didn't stay there. She wrapped herself around him, one hand on his waist,
the other on his neck. It was as if the world dissolved. Floated away, and
there was nothing but their connection.
"I love you." Annie said right before she arched, pushing him
up about a foot, and came apart. The link throbbed, pulsed. Something
alive. He grabbed her hair and pulled her head back so he could look into
her eyes. He held her fiery green gaze for as long as he could before the link
pulled him down, in, out. They found a place so perfect, so crystal clear, that
nothing could've been sharper, and then he thrust one last time, and with the
link so full of love, so huge that it literally consumed them, came inside her.
He collapsed. She was crying the link was so perfectly forged.
"Daniel..."
"I know....god baby, I know...." He held her head and buried
his face in her neck. Before long, hot tears fell on the skin there. By
the time they were on their sleeping bags, dry and naked, it was nighttime.
They were petting each other. Nuzzling, almost having long conversations with
looks. Blue meeting green and discussing the nature of being.
"Daniel?" "Yeah?"
"Can we stay here forever?"
"Well, I would say yes, but after our time is up, we're gonna have
three very upset members of SG-1 coming in with guns blazing. I don't want a
P-90 poking me in the head on my honeymoon, how about you?" Annie laughed.
"Uhhhh.....no." And
that’s how they stayed for four days. They made love so many times, Daniel lost
count. Annie moon bathed. She didn't want to lose her pale complexion, so she
stayed out of the sun. Daniel read books while she listened and he rubbed her
back. Every little thing set their sexual energies off. One look, one breath,
one simple movement. Even random thoughts caught by one or the other. Like when
he caught her admiring his ass as he bent down to retrieve some trash. She
danced for him, her player playing everything from jazz to rock, to soft hip
hop. He was shocked when she was doing a particularly sexy dance to Ushers
"Yeah" and the lyrics caught him.
"Me and Ursh once more and we leave 'em dead, we want a lady in the
street but a freak in the bed to say.."
Some wicked imp inside him actually agreed with the rapper she later
identified as Ludacris. He shook his head. God, so true...but he got a freak in
both places. Damn....he watched her ass move and found himself feeling like
some lucky....what was it that he'd overheard the airmen talking
about....player. That's it. "Player Daniel?" Annie asked, crawling close.
"Where's your bling?" "Bling?" Annie had fallen over laughing.
"Oh....Daniel...honey...you are WAY too white." Daniel rolled
his eyes. "Well, excuuuse me. Cool isn't something I study."
"No problem, as it happens, you married the Queen of Cool
baby....you'll learn," Annie shrugged as she lay in his lap, "Oh, and
being a 'player' usually denotes you've got more than one woman. You try and
get in THAT game and there won’t be enough left of you to put in one of those
vases you've got in your office." Daniel laughed.
"I don't think so. You're enough trouble for me."
Annie poked him and ran, he gave chase. They made love in the meadow. "He's so contagious,
