                                By Ryanne

  Prologue

 Colorado Springs, Summer 2003.

"Ammonet!" A voice screamed out into the darkness of a rather run down apartment. The girl didn't even know why. A voice distorted a glow in the eyes. Evil in the soul, mixed with...love?  Egyptian culture in bad Bob Mackie costumes. She sat up. What the hell was she dreaming about anyway, and why did it bring such pain with it?

"As if my life isn't hard enough now I gotta dream someone else’s pain." She dragged herself out of bed. If you could call it a bed. She looked at the clock. 3 PM. Well, that’ll teach me to drink Red Bull at 4 AM.

The girl, totally oblivious to the truth about what was really going on in her dreams, got up and prowled into the late afternoon. It would be night soon. Good, maybe the dark will chase this shit away.
