Chapter 1

            Daniel leaned against the door to his quarters watching the women he loved who were presently perched on the end of his bed.  His mind was reeling from everything that had happened in the few hours before now; he was still very overwhelmed by it all.  He knew that Sam, Freya, and Anise all knew his secret about the feelings he had for them…why did he ever make those holo-messages?  There was no hope for it now, they knew and now they were expecting for him to say it.

            Sam sat watching the way that Daniel leaned against his door with that familiar self-hug thing he always did when he was worried about what somebody may think of him.  It was one of the endearing things that she had grown to love and cherish when she saw it.  For so many years, she has been in love with him and lost him to death or near-death so many times.  Now that she new how he felt about her, she was not going to let any more time get away…but, she had to hear it from his lips at least once before they explored that love they both felt.

            Freya and Anise silently watched Daniel as he leaned against the door…

~ “Why doesn’t he just come over to the bed and let us love him?” Freya complained to Anise. ~

~ “Because he is a Tauri male, and he is Daniel.” Anise replied to her host.  “He is not like the other males we have ever met, he cares about how everyone else feels and is worried to hurt anyone’s feelings in this matter.” ~

~ “That is insane.” Freya practically shouted in her mind.  “He knows how we feel about him, we know how he feels for us.  The outcome is only logical and is most desirable.” ~

~ “That may be so, but Daniel is Tauri.  The Tauri do not often enter into multi-partner relationships.” Anise said trying to calm her host.  “From what we both know, he did not get involved with anyone for all the time that he searched for and then mourned his late wife.  Can you not expect that he is going to be very nervous with having exposed his feelings for you, I and Samantha?” ~

~ “Men are so obtuse.” Freya growled internally.  “I can understand his feelings, but after what we have already all shared…it is maddening to just sit here why he looks like he is brooding.” ~

~ “I know my heart, but we must wait for him or we will not get what we desire.” Anise soothed. ~

Glancing over at the women in his life once again, Daniel decided that making them wait was being unkind to them.  They knew the truth of his heart, and he knew how they felt about him.  The only thing he did not know was if he was able to keep them all happy without someone being hurt.

“I guess the three of you are here to discuss what I said in the hologram messages?” Daniel started with apprehension while still staring at the floor.  “The thing is, it is the complete truth.”

Daniel lifted he eyes and looked at “his” women to see what there responses were.  “I do love each of you with all that I am, and I do not want to fail any of you by not giving you everything that you deserve.”

Staring into Sam’s eyes, Daniel continued.  “Sam, I have loved you since the day I first met you.  We connected on a level that I have never achieved with anyone.  We are kindred souls, sharing passions in our work and out of it.  We have known each other for so long, and I never let you know my true feelings.”  Daniel took a minute to wipe a tear from his eyes.

Staring into Anise/Freya’s eyes, Daniel spoke.  “Anise, when we first met I was intrigued by you…but I was also very annoyed by your single-mindedness.”  Daniel smirked a little.  “But, I took the time to get to know you and find out who you really were beneath the science-only exterior.  Like I said about Sam, we are able to connect on a level that I have only ever experienced with Sam, though for us it was not of our souls…but our minds.  Where you are about the sciences like Sam, we still understand each other without having to force it.”

Maintaining the gaze into Anise/Freya’s eyes, Daniel took a second to calm his nerves before continuing.  “Freya, you share the same passion for the past that I do.  Where you are not an Archeologist by trade, you are by hobby.  You understand what it means to me when I get in my “gotta-know-the-past” mood.  With you I have also connected on a deep level that I have only known two other times, that being Sam and Anise.”

“All three of you have captured my soul, my mind, and my heart.”  Daniel said looking at each in turn.  “I will understand if the three of you are not willing to share this love that I have for you.  I do not want anyone to be left unhappy with not having my full love to only them self.”

“Daniel,” Sam said looking at him with the intensity of her emotions in her eyes, “I have loved you since before I met you in person.  I tried with all that I was to ignore it and keep it from showing…I even used my slight infatuation with Jack to try and disguise it, but it was always there.  When I lost you to the radiation poisoning, it destroyed me.”  She said as tears welled up in her eyes.  “But you came back.  So many times I have lost you and thought you to be gone forever; I am not going to wait anymore and I will share whatever you wish to have you in my life.”

The unbridled love that was shining through Sam’s eyes made Daniel’s heart soar with happiness.  He wanted to jump up and run over and take her in his arms, but held off to find out what Anise and Freya thought.

Anise chose to speak first as Freya was still trying to get her emotions under control after hearing what Samantha had said.  “Doctor Jackson, Daniel, I have not known you as long as Samantha has, nor have I suffered through losing you as she, but I can not deny that I love you more than I have any other.  You have made me see that there is more to life than just facts and physical release, there is something so much more profound that it makes my heart sing.  The Tok’ra have never had a problem sharing a mate with another, and I do not have a problem with doing so now.”

 “I feel the same as Anise,” Freya spoke up.  “Where we have had mates in the past, they never made me feel the way I do when I am around you.  I know that when I first met the Tauri, I was attracted to O’Neill…but it was nothing compared to what I feel for you.  My heart feels like it will explode when I see you, and like it will shrivel up when I have to part from your presence.  I have never felt these emotions before and although it scares me, I would not want to lose them by not sharing your life.”

Hearing the unguarded words from all three women, and seeing the same in their eyes, Daniel pushed himself away from the wall and knelt down between them and took their hands in his.

“I do not know what will come of this, and I am not sure what to do, but I will give each of you all that I am to make sure that each of you knows that I love you.” Daniel said as he first kissed there knuckles and then their palms.

All three women, well the two physical bodies, bent down to kiss Daniel on the cheek as they pulled him up between them.  Once Daniel was sitting between them, Sam took his face in her hands and turned his face so that she could kiss him the way she wanted.  With her lips covering his, she poured all of her love into that one act, slowly running her tongue over Daniel’s lips until she felt the part before diving in.  This kiss was equally returned by Daniel and it blew her socks off.  Never had she been kissed with such skill or depth of feeling.  She moaned low into Daniel’s mouth with the feelings that welled up in her.  Sam’s hand roamed freely over Daniel’s chest, stilling over his heart where she could feel the fast pace of the beat that proved not only that he was alive, but that he was feeling the same as she was.

Daniel was not so lost in the kiss that he did not detect that Anise/Freya had started kissing him lightly on his neck.  Not knowing what else to do, he continued pouring all that he felt into the kiss with Sam until he felt her pull away.  Then he found that Anise/Freya was pulling his face in her direction to claim his lips as well.  Where as the kiss with Sam was not the same, he felt the same amount of emotion coming from the Tok’ra women.  He could distinguish who was kissing him as the kept switching between host and symbiote by the way the emotion felt, and the taste of their kiss.  He was almost out of breath by the time he was released from the embrace.

“Wow.”  Was the first word from Anise once she had regained her breath.

“I do not think I have ever been kissed like that in all the years that I have lived.” Freya announced with great emotion.

Daniel laid back on the bed as both women did the same, each of them laying their heads on his chest and gently stroked his hands.  “If any of you ever feel that I am not giving you all my love, I want you to tell me.”  Daniel said staring at the tops of their heads.  “I never want any of you to feel the slightest bit of jealousy or neglect.”

“I do not think that will ever be likely.”  Sam stated with heavy emotion and sparking eyes.  “That kiss you shared with all of us proves that you will give us each all that we want.”
