Chapter 7

            “We have had some rather strange debriefings in this room, especially where SG1 are concerned.”  Hammond said as he stared at his premier team.  “But this is one for the records.”

            “Uhm, please sir,” Daniel spoke up hastely, “can the part about how Jolinar was revived be left out of the report…it is kind of embarrassing.”

            “You are right son, something like that does not need to be in a report.” George said with a nod and a smile.  “I am going to have to place you on stand-down for a bit though Major Carter, at least until we can determine if you and Jolinar are okay.”

            “I do not think that there will be a problem, General Hammond.” Jolinar replied with a bow.  “But I understand your hesitancy in letting my host and my self through the Stargate.”

            “George, we are going to have to contact the high council about this.” Jacob addressed his friend.  “They will more than likely want to speak with Jolinar and Sam immediately because of the situation.”

            “Alright Jacob, call the Tok’ra and let them know.  We will all meet back here when they arrive as I want it done here.” Hammond said broaching no argument.  “In the meantime, I want a full workup done on Jolinar and Major Carter to make sure there are no concerns.”

            “I believe I can assist Dr. Warner with the tests.” Anise announced.  “I know more about our physiology and other things that can be done with the equipment here.”

            “I would appreciate the help.” Dr. Warner said.  “We honestly do not know enough about the Tok’ra to be able to allay any medical concerns.  The fact that I was not able to detect Jolinar still being in Major Carter proves that.”

            “If it is any conciliation, Dr. Warner, even the Tok’ra would have found it difficult to detect my presence.” Jolinar responded with a grin.

            “Very well people.  As soon as the Tok’r aarrive, we will meet back here.  Dismissed” George said getting up and going to his office…he really needed a drink.

            SG1 followed Dr. Warner to the infirmary while Jacob went to the control room to contact the Tok’ra High council.  Nobody knew quite how they were going to explain this.

            Selmak’s message the Tok’ra council was brief and cryptic.  He told them that they needed to come to Earth as fast as possible, that something monumental had occurred that needed their presence.  He loved to play these games with them since they so often left him in the dark these days.  Their response was that they would be there in two earth hours and that it had better be something of great import or he was in deep trouble.  Selmak had only laughed to him self and his host at the surprise in store for them.  Then he headed to the infirmary to be with his daughter.
