What Comes Of Dreams Chapter 12 “You
will tell me what I want to know, Tau’ri.” Daniel’s
unknown captor thundered as he dealt out another crushing blow to Daniel’s
ribs. Feeling
a rib give under that last punch, Daniel gasped in pain, but refused to give
his tormentor the pleasure of hearing him scream out. “I
will not tell you a damn thing other than to go off yourself.” Daniel said
glibly. “I have had bigger and meaner
try what you are, and they failed. You
should go ask Ra, Apophis, Ba’al,
Hathor, Osiris, Anubis, and so many others. You all are about as smart as a cockroach!” Daniel
knew that last comment pissed this particular Goa’uld off when he spun around
and he felt the all too familiar burning of a hand-device on his forehead. “If
I can not get you to volunteer the information, I will dig it out of your
primitive mind, Daniel Jackson.” The unknown Goa’uld said gleefully. Daniel
could feel the pressure mounting against his mind and pressed against it,
refusing to let it breach into his thoughts.
He knew that if the Goa’uld where able to access anything within his
mind; he would not be able to live with what they would do with the knowledge. The one thing that Daniel was grateful for
was that there was no longer any of the ancient knowledge left…that had been
removed by Thor days ago. After
several minutes, the unnamed Goa’uld grew angry because he was not able to get
anything. Stopping the device, he
backhanded Daniel cutting his cheek across the cheekbone and knocked him
several feet across the room. As Daniel
started to pick himself up, the Goa’uld signaled for the waiting Jaffa to take
up the fun. By the time Daniel was
dumped unconscious in his cell, he had suffered abuse for hours. In the recesses of his mind, Daniel knew that
death was soon to be his fate and he would never see Samantha, Jolinar, Freya,
Anise, or anyone else that he cared for again. The
Goa’uld that had captured Daniel Jackson paced angrily on the Pel’tak of his ship.
How could that insignificant speck of a Tau’ri
keep him from the knowledge of the Ancients?
By all reports, this Tau’ri was known to
harbor the information that would make him the greatest of all the
Goa’uld. Time would get him the
information he wanted…Daniel Jackson could not stand against him forever. A
Jaffa that had been manning the ships communication systems monitored the
incoming signal from the spy sent amongst the Tau’ri. Turning from his post he addressed his
god. “Lord Zor,
we are receiving a communication from the spy you left.” Sitting
in his throne, Lord Zor activated his personal view
screen and began receiving the recorded message. “Lord
Zor, I bring you information from the Tau’ri.” Per’sus announced in a zombie-like manner. “The one known as Daniel Jackson does not
have the Ancient knowledge anymore; it was removed recently by the Asgard. Also, the Tok’ra known as Jolinar lives. She is being hosted by …” Lord
Zor growled in frustration as his slammed his fist
into the view screen and glared at the Jaffa manning the communication system. “The
communication was cut off, my lord.” The young Jaffa warrior said fearfully
while bowing to his god. He knew that
Lord Zor was already upset about the Tau’ri being willful and this would only amplify his anger. Lord
Zor stormed out of the Pel’tak
and fumed all the way to the prison cell holding his captive. Slamming his fist against a glyph on the wall
opposite the cell, Zor gloated as he watched the
floor open and drop the Tau’ri through the bows of
the ship and out onto the planet’s surface.
Pressing another glyph, he ordered the crew to take him to his home
world. “I may not have gotten the
information I wanted, but at least one more base of
those shol’va Tok’ra are dead.” He spoke to himself. Teal’c
stood glaring at the unconscious Goa’uld spy on the floor before him. He had come to check on how he was doing when
he overheard the report being given. All
it took was a solid strike across the lower area of the neck and that stopped
the spy from speaking as the communication globe shattered against the
ground. Ordering one of the guards to go
get JacobCarter and Dr. Warner, Teal’c stood guard
over the fallen spy. “I
vow on your life, that any harm comes to DanielJackson will be dealt to you a
thousand fold.” Teal’c vowed to the creature inhabiting the body of the Tok’ra
called Per’sus. The
other guard at the door only backed out of the way and maintained his post,
knowing full well that Teal’c was good and pissed off. There was no way he wanted to get caught in
that backlash. End Chapter Twelve of This story along with all original characters and situations were created
