Chapter Ten

In the private room hidden behind the thrones, Daniel was lying face down on a bunch of pillows. He was trying to avoid thinking of anything dealing with the SGC, especially secrets and codes, when he felt both of the women staring at him. “Beloved, you do not need to fear that we will learn the secrets of your mind. The rite only allows us to read one another’s surface thoughts.”. it was Sha’re’s voice that he heard, not Omanet’s. Sitting up and looking at them, Daniel could not help but feel uncertain. Before he could even voice what he had thought, it was Sarah to respond, “Daniel, you do not need to mistrust us. We are unable to dig any deeper into your mind than just what passes over the surface. Your friends and the SGC are still safe. We have no wish to do anything to them.” It was at this point that Daniel realized he was not hearing the dual-voices of the Goa’uld.

“I know that you both said you would speak with the Goa’uld voice only when necessary, but I am feeling like there is something more going on now. I do not hear the Goa’uld thoughts in my head. Nor do I feel that your bodies have a second life in them. I know from exams done on Tok’ra that there should be secondary life signs within yall, but I do not feel them…shouldn’t I?”, Daniel asked.

It was Sha’re that spoke first, “Dan’yel, what you are experiencing is true. There is no longer a second life within us. The rite fully merged the Goa’uld and the host together. We can use the dual-voice and the glowing eyes if we need, but we are no longer Goa’uld. All of the knowledge of the Goa’uld and the host are now one, as well as all of the desires, dreams, fears, and experiences.”

“From now on, Isis and Omanet only exist in the presence of other Goa’uld. It will not be long before even the Jaffa figures this out. We know that there is a Tok’ra spy amongst us. We have even found out whom this person is, one of the priests. We would like your help as much for yourself as for us, to contact this Tok’ra and have him meet with us. We would also ask that you help us convince the Jaffa to continue to serve us. If they do not, it would not be long before they either kill us all, or they inform other Goa’uld and we suffer the same fate.”, Sarah said softly.

“So that you understand what has happened better, watch the palm of your hand and that of Sarah.”, Sha’re said. She then took out a small knife that was in her hair, turned her hand palm up, and sliced into it from finger to ball. Yelping in pain, Daniel saw the same cut appear on his hand and on that of Sarah. Suddenly realization flooded his brain, and was confirmed by the nods of the two women.

“Before you get upset or feel guilty about anything,” Sha’re said while moving over beside Daniel, “we know full well what happened in your chambers with Kara and Netti. Do not worry Beloved that was meant to happen, as it was also part of the rite. The Consort had to be prepared in body, and the only way to reach the state of preparation was through sexual intercourse. Certain chemicals are released into the blood after sexual fulfillment that make the rite less painful. Do not worry about the two of us having had to be prepared in that manner,” smiled Sha’re, “our symbiote was able to release those chemicals for us without seeking sex. It may not have been as gratifying as what you experienced, but it was sufficient.”

Now it was Sarah that moved to the other side of Daniel, “That does not mean that we do not desire or need to make love with you now. You will find that being bound will enhance the sexual experience to levels you never imagined existed.” Without any more words being said, Sarah leaned over and poured all the love she felt into her kiss. Just as Daniel though his heart was going to jump out of his chest, the kiss between Sarah and himself was broken and his head was turned towards Sha’re. Sha’re’s lips descended down to meet his and he felt overflowing with the love that she gave to him.
