Love's Sweet Release Chapter Thirteen It did not take long for Sha’re and Sarah to arrive in Daniel’s quarters. Once they had entered the room and locked the door, Le’at stepped out from his hiding place in the bathing chamber. As if nothing was amiss, Daniel went to stand between Sha’re and Sarah with his hands holding each of theirs. Leading them to the chaise lounger at the foot of his bed, Daniel motioned for them to sit down. Going back to the table in his room, Daniel drug two chairs over to be in front of Sha’re and Sarah, facing them. Motioning for Le’at to sit, Daniel took the chair directly in front of Sha’re. Once Le’at was seated, Daniel began what he thought was going to be more like negotiation than a nice chat. “Le’at, let me introduce Sha’re and Sarah, hosts to Omanet and Isis no longer.”, Daniel said glancing at the reaction on Le’at’s face. Le’at heard what Dr. Jackson said, but it didn’t seem to come out right. “Are you telling me that they are no longer inhabited by and under the control of Goa’uld?”, Le’at asked. With her eyes glowing, Sarah spoke in her Tau’ri voice, “It is true, we are no longer hosts to a Goa’uld symbiote, but something more profound than this has occurred. Where as we no longer have the symbiote in us, the knowledge and all that it was is now a part of us. Think of it as a true melding of host and symbiote.” With this, Sarah let her eyes stop glowing. “I have never seen or heard of such a thing. When the symbiote uses the glowing of the eyes, there is always the dual-voice. With what I just saw, it was the Tau’ri woman’s voice, and yet the eyes did glow. How can I be certain that this is not some sort of trick?”, Le’at started. Daniel stood up and walked over to the table that the chairs had been at. Taking the paring knife that was there, he walked back over and sat down in the chair he had been in only seconds before. Handing the paring knife to Le’at, he held his left hand out to him with the palm up. Nodding, the two women followed Daniel’s example and held their hands out as well, palms up. “Le’at, use that knife and cut the hand of any one of us that is offered.”, Daniel said. Not knowing what else to do, Le’at chose to cut Daniel’s hand. Trying to not cut too deeply, Le’at placed the blade drew the knife in a straight line from where the thumb connects to the palm all the way to where the pinky connects to the palm. Hearing the two women gasp in pain, he turned to see the same cut on their palms where there had been no cut before. As he was staring at what was had just occurred, Sha’re took a healing device out with her right hand and healed the cut on Sarah’s palm. Le’at watched as the cut was healed on Daniel’s and her hand as well. “I do not understand what is happening.”, confessed Le’at. “Let me try to explain it.” Daniel said, “The rite that we went through has joined us body-to-body. This means that any suffered or healed will be likewise for the others. We are joined mind-to-mind, which means we can “hear” the surface thoughts of the others to which we are joined. We are also joined soul-to-soul, which means that our souls are as enter twined as our minds and bodies are. There had been two souls in Sha’re and Sarah’s bodies before the ceremony. The best I can figure is that the ancient magic involved in the rite detected the dual souls and minds in their bodies. Being that it was only meant to deal with a single soul and mind in each participant, it merged the two into one for each. Seeing as the Goa’uld and the hosts were already seeing eye-to-eye on a lot of things, there was already a sort of mergence going on. This just completed what would probably have taken years to occur.” “The only way to be truly certain that the Goa’uld symbiote does not exist any longer would be to do a CT or MRI scan back on the base of the Tau’ri, or to use one of the testing methods we possess at one of the Tok’ra bases.”, Le’at stated. “My symbiote agrees that things seem to be the truth, but he urges that the tests be performed to set aside any and all doubt.” “The only way this could be done would be for us to go to the SGC and Tok’ra base.”, Sarah stated. “Unless either of you know a better way?” “The method that we use for testing is a portable device. It is not much different from a Zaytarc detector. Each Tok’ra ship has one and we also have one on each of our bases.”, Le’at stated. “I do not know if the ships that we possess have CT or MRI capability on board, I would have to contact the SGC to find out, but that brings about another issue.”, Daniel said. “If the ships do not, we would all have to go back to the SGC, and without proof…I am worried what they might do when we arrive. Another thing to consider is how to win the Jaffa here over to working for Sha’re and Sarah to keep up the disguise of Omanet and Isis. I think Teal’c could convince them to work for you both as free Jaffa, but not as servants anymore. He would have to come here for that to work.” Looking at the two women he loved, he could see in their eyes that they had already heard the thought. They both nodded their heads. “I will call for Teal’c and we will have to pick him up somewhere that has a gate. We will declare that he is to be my first prime and at the same time I will name you, Le’at, at my Lo’tar. This will give you both standing in ranks around here and make it that much harder for anyone to move against either of you.” “Since when did you become so sneaky Daniel Jackson?”, Sarah said laughingly. “I think that the time with O’Neill has turned my Dan’yel into more than just a beautiful man.”, Sha’re said. “There is a planet that is not far from here which is still within the holdings we control. We maintain a mothership at each planet under our control to protect the people there from other Goa’uld. At this moment, there are four planets like this.” “The closest one to here would not take long for an Al’Kesh to get to and back. Teal’c and the rest of your friends could gate their and we would meet them.”, Sarah offered. “This sounds like a good plan. When we contact the Tau’ri, Selmak will be with them…he can bring the device we need for the Tok’ra test.”, Le’at stated. “It sounds like we have a plan.”, Daniel said. Daniel smiled at Sha’re and Sarah as the gate address flashed through his mind. “I have the address now. Le’at, go back to your “priest” quarters and retrieve whatever you left there. I believe that the chamber next to mine is empty, and it is where I believe the Lo’tar should be if I don’t miss my mark.” “That is the customary place for the Lo’tar to be our Beloved.”, Sha’re said. “Then, let Le’at leave first then you two go back to what you need to do to keep up appearances. I will wait here for Le’at to return and we will make the call.”, Daniel said. With a nod, Le’at stood up and left the room. A few minutes later, Sha’re and Sarah also left the room giving the guards orders that none but themselves and the manservant that just left were to be allowed to bother their Consort.
