Time & Time Again Chapter Seven SG-1, SG-12, and Marine-12 came tumbling through the Stargate to land in a heap at the bottom of the ramp in the gate-room of the SGC. As the iris closed and the gate disengaged, medical teams came rushing into the room. As Teal’c picked up and placed Daniel on a gurney, General Hammond walked into the room and saw that Daniel was unconscious and two Marines were wounded, but there were five people missing. “I want all of you to the infirmary and checked over.” General Hammond ordered. “Where are SG-10 and Dr. Frasier?” Hammond asked of the three teams. “They did not make it sir.” Jack responded with a heavy heart. “Dr. Frasier was dead in her cell and SG-10 was killed while we escaped.” Sighing, General Hammond lowered his head for a moment, “I understand, I would like a full debrief once everyone has been checked out.” With that, Hammond turned around and headed back to his office. After being poked, prodded, and given an electrolyte infusion by IV, Sam, Jack, and Teal’c were released from the infirmary with orders to take the next week recuperating. Instead of leaving the infirmary, the team gathered around Daniel’s bed where nurses where busy hooking him up to several IV lines and monitoring equipment. “Is he alright?” Jack asked looking at the doctor on duty. “We do not know. His vital signs are weak, but steady. There are no signs of injury or illness. We are giving him electrolytes and are going to monitor him. Other than that, there is not much more that we can do.” the doctor responded. “What about those two Marines?” Jack asked nodding in the direction of the other two beds. “They will be fine. A couple of weeks of down time and they should heal. Their wounds are not too bad and we have already applied the Tok’ra medicine to them,” the doctor reported. Looking over at their friend and team member once more, the remaining members of SG-1 headed towards the conference room to debrief. As they walked through the corridors, everyone around them smiled and nodded their heads at them, which left SG-1 bewildered. Arriving at the conference room, SG-1 found that SG-12 and the remaining members of Marine-12 were already there. Taking their seats greetings were exchanged between the team members. Walking into the room, General Hammond could not help but smile at SG-1. With a slight smile, he could not help but think back over the number of times that SG-1 had returned from the dead only a little worse for the wear. “So, tell let’s go over everything from the time of SG-1’s capture till you all came tumbling down the ramp.” General Hammond ordered. After several hours of debriefing, everyone was dismissed with orders to stand down for the next week, except SG-1 which was given the next two week completely off. Returning to the infirmary, SG-1 found that Daniel’s condition had improved. Although Daniel was still unconscious, his vital signs had grown stronger and were now at acceptable levels. Taking up their customary positions, SG-1 settled down to wait for their friend and teammate to regain consciousness. End Chapter Seven Of
