Time & Time Again Epilogue Unseen to human eyes, the Guardians, hovered in a corner watching over their charge. “So, the council is going to allow him to retain the powers?” the youngest asked. “Yes. He demonstrated that there is a need for one such as he to have those capabilities. It has been decided that he will not take up the role of champion,” the eldest said smiling, “he shall bring justice to those that perpetrate evil, and peace to the universe.” “Will we be allowed to continue to watch over him, or will we be replaced by some of the Others?” the youngest inquired. “Oma has assured me that we shall retain our positions. In time, his strength will grow and he will learn to use his powers much better and without the toll on his life force. Until then, we will watch over him and protect him from any direct actions that any non-corporal entity may commit.” the eldest stated. The End. for now… End Of
